TekRevol handles mobile app development for a university. They’re building a vaping cessation app that allows users to track their moods and cravings as well as participate with other users.
The app is meeting expectations and coming along smoothly. The partner is satisfied with the design work and overall engagement. TekRevol does an excellent job of managing timetables and milestones within their project management style. Social responsibility is a hallmark of their work.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m an associate professor at the University of Toronto. I work as a scientist, and I’m in the School of Public Health. Our university is a large research and educational institution.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with TekRevol?
We had a project funded to develop interventions for vaping cessation. We had the idea of an app and brought on TekRevol to build it.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
The app is called the Stop Vaping Challenge. The objective is to bring people in, and the basic features are simple. The app features a timer and links to surveys that allow the user to track their moods and cravings. TekRevol is building out these functionalities. We’re also interested in doing small group linkages so participants can do the challenge together. Currently, we’re in the development phase and just moving onto the beta phase. The app will be available on iOS and Android.
What is the team composition?
We work closely with three people who have been our main contacts. There’s also been a host of other team members involved at different stages.
How did you come to work with TekRevol?
We put out an open call for requests for proposals, and we were looking for two apps. TekRevol bid on both of them. We choose them for this app because we liked their experience and portfolio of past apps they’ve built. As we described what we were looking for, they had a strong sense of what that’d be and look like. We trusted their vision.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested about $35,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing engagement started in December 2020.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’re excited about how the app is coming together. It’s looking exactly like how we want it to, and TekRevol’s process of design is great. We left a lot of the design work to them, without a lot of input from us; we’ve been very satisfied with that. The app is coming along roughly according to expectations.
How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?
TekRevol has been very good with communication. They utilize Asana, and that process has been very effective for us from a project management standpoint. Their team has a great layout of their timetables and milestones.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have a great sense of social responsibility and interest. It was very important to us to work with someone who is like that. TekRevol is a professional organization, and it’s been a pleasure to work with them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’ve been somewhat hit hard by COVID-19 which is leading to some challenges. We’ve had a number of meetings where they struggled to get place to place occasionally, especially at their offshore office. That is mostly from their end rather than affecting what we’re receiving.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have a clear sense of what you want for your app. They had to spend some time teaching us about what we wanted and how we could do it. That wasn’t as efficient from our perspective, but it was needed. If we had done that research earlier, it could have been avoided.

TekRevol is building a mobile app for iOS and Android. Featuring a POS system and APIs, the platform utilizes QR codes and menu engineering to manage orders and other processes related to restaurant management.
A skilled and accomplished team, TekRevol has impressed their client. They’ve delivered quality designs and have implemented most of the project requirements already. Using Asana, they’ve managed the project well and have maintained communication with their partner.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of operations for the 1100 Group, LLC, a restaurant management consulting firm. We own and operate seven restaurants and consult on all sorts of projects for restaurants.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with TekRevol?
TekRevol helped us create a service model to increase the efficiency of the restaurant and enhance the customer experience.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We’re developing a comprehensive restaurant application with an integrated POS system and an API for order fulfillment. It’s a mobile app for iOS and Android.
The platform helps provide full table service by utilizing QR codes and menu engineering. It replicates most functions a server will perform, such as holding food and reordering. The app also managed takeout, delivery, reservations, rewards, catering, and merchandise.
We will launch the platform on Rebel Foods and may examine relationships with Toast and Square as well.
What is the team composition?
I worked with a co-founder and CTO. I also worked with a project coordinator.
How did you come to work with TekRevol?
I reached out through our network of restauranteurs. I was looking for an app developer with experience in developing POS systems and API integrations for the hospitality industry.
We vetted 6–7 different companies and we chose TekRevol because they were locally based and had the experience we needed.
How much have you invested with them?
We expect to spend between $45,000–$48,000 on this project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with them in August 2020 but paused the project at the end of last year because of a new product launch. We picked the project back up and expect to finish it at the end of April 2021. Then they will provide maintenance support for a few months.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I was happy with the design phase and the way they were able to set up that app so it's aesthetically pleasing and very functional. They’ve implemented about 90% of the features we want effectively.
How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?
We work through Asana. We communicate well via email and phone. If anything, we slow them down.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re experienced, knowledgeable, and resourceful. On top of that, their team is very strong. When we met with the entire team, I was very impressed.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We’re missing some of the functionality we’re looking for, but I don’t know if that’s outside of their control. They might need to think outside the box.
They could also be more proactive about communicating the timelines for different tasks and when they expect to complete them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Like us, you should use Asana to manage the project.

TekRevol implemented a feature into a tablet-based Android application to continuously capture photos through external cameras on trucks. In addition to maintaining that app, the team’s developing another one.
By successfully completing projects and surpassing expectations, TekRevol secures a lasting partnership. They address inquiries and engage project management tools that ensure both teams remain on the same page. The team is not only driven but also dedicated and invested in the engagement.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CIO of a company that services the US and Canada for trash removal and disposal.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with TekRevol?
Our initial challenge involved the development of our Android app used to direct and instruct trucks. We needed a strong firm that could take over this part of the project and complete the development.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We needed our tablets to correctly and repeatedly take images using an external camera connected to the tablet. We gave TekRevol this project and told them what we needed to accomplish. Their team then completed the project, and they're now managing the app’s ongoing development. Their team's building features and implementing more automation. TekRevol’s also developing another basic app. After that, their team will work on our primary app. They'll build features and functionalities requested by users.
What is the team composition?
In total, we interface with three people but there’s a team behind them that does most of the development work. There are at least 2–3 other people on the development side.
How did you come to work with TekRevol?
We lost one of our Android developers and decided to hire a company rather than another employee. I searched online and a couple of agencies appeared. I called TekRevol later in the day, but Ryan (Partner) picked up the phone. We hit it off, and he said his team could take of it.
How much have you invested with them?
So far, we’ve spent less than $100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our relationship began around November 2020, and currently, we have three separate projects with them.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The projects we gave TekRevol were successful. If my two seasoned software development managers who manage the projects were unhappy with TekRevol, they would fire their team. Those managers have been with us for a long time. If a vendor didn’t live up to their end of the deal, our managers would find another one. TekRevol has exceeded their expectations.
How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?
TekRevol uses Asana, and we meet once a week or more if necessary. Their communication’s strong, and Asana helps. It houses all of the project’s details, so our developers use it to check projects' statuses. I’m part of the weekly meetings and if I ask questions, TekRevol always has answers.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I like that TekRevol’s efficient and ambitious. I also like ownership. From day one, their team took ownership of the projects. It’s refreshing and rewarding that their team doesn’t just sit around. Instead, they work to get the job done.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don’t even have a shortlist of ways they could improve. I don’t have any complaints.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Try TekRevol out. Give them proof of concept and let them prove it. They will. If it doesn’t work, say goodbye. They’ll say goodbye too.

TekRevol serves as the mobile app development partner to a videography company. They are building an iOS app designed to be a straightforward and user-friendly video-editing solution.
Consistently turning the client's thoughts into tangible designs and user flows, TekRevol has thoroughly impressed so far. They have remained responsive and receptive to feedback, never complaining if they have to fix something. The partners manage their time zone difference well.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and owner of a startup videography company. We’re working on a mobile app to streamline the process for videography clients.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with TekRevol?
In a video production project, editing is a big challenge. We’re developing a mobile app that will help my customers or clients create similar end products to what I’m creating as far as editing together multiple clips of video.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started off doing some consulting with them to develop the scope of the work with a few of their team members. The goal behind the app was to allow customers to gather multiple clips of video for the app to edit together for them. There will also be a place for companies to add information at the bottom. For instance, my company specializes in equine videography, so the information within the video could be details about the horse. The solution will be much more general, allowing people in the general public to create a video composed of several clips with the option of adding text information. The app lets customers do this without any editing knowledge or experience. They never need to learn how to edit.
They’re creating the app to be straightforward and user-friendly for people who aren’t very tech-savvy. For the sake of startup costs and testing the market, they’ll be focusing on an iOS version for now. The plan will be to implement the Android version after we launch the first version on the App Store.
What is the team composition?
I started working with Josh (Marketing Manager) and Ryan (Partner). They were responsible for providing me with some initial information about their services, which help us determine whether they were a good fit. They were very involved in the quoting process and the initial scope. In terms of the app build, I worked with three other project leads.
How did you come to work with TekRevol?
We considered about 10 other companies that were highly-recommended on Clutch. For each company, I discussed my vision and detailed the goals for the project. I felt a good connection with Ryan. Their price was middle of the road compared to the other companies we were considering, but Ryan’s friendliness and competence encouraged me to chose them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’re going to spend about $45,000–$60,000. The initial quote for the iOS app was about $45,000, which includes versions for both the iPhone and iPad. If I want to do the Android build, it will likely cost an additional $15,000–$20,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working with them since around October 2020. Currently, we’re working through the testing phases with them and should be ready to launch the first version of the solution in March 2021.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
This is the first time I’ve developed an app with an external provider, but they translate my thoughts into design and function without too many hiccups or misunderstandings. My background in Photoshop has helped out a little because I’m able to give them almost-exact examples of how I want something to look. The best measure of success for me is how well they’re able to put my thoughts into action through designs and user flows. They’ve been very good at that.
Any time there’s an issue or they deliver something that wasn’t what I envisioned, they’ve been very receptive to hearing my feedback and fixing the problem. At this point, they’ve finished the alpha version of the app, and I’m getting feedback on it from colleagues in the industry. We’re hoping to start beta testing in the next few weeks, which will lead to a fully-functional prototype to iterate on.
How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?
Each of the members of their team has been very receptive to my ideas and understanding of my goals. They’re still on schedule with their initial timeline estimates. They’re sounds with email communication, despite our time zone difference.
Even if I send them a message during the middle of the night their time, I never have to wait long for a response. They have high standards for themselves from a time benchmarking standpoint. In fact, they’re more strict on timelines than I am. We have Zoom meetings once or twice each week, where they discuss their plans and progress. They haven’t missed a deadline yet.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their speedy communication and ability to hold true to their promises are both rare and appreciated. They’ve been there when I’ve needed to talk to someone and have done what they say they’re going to do.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There may be slight cultural differences between me and their teammates overseas because sometimes I have to explain my vision or plans multiple times before they seem to grasp it fully. Because of that, someone from their US-based office may also want to jump on some of those calls to answer questions they may have.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would encourage you to hire them and have as many details and ideas as possible for them at the start of the engagement. Giving them ideas for design, colors, and user flows will help them create the product you want. They can come up with amazing deliverables, but the only way to get what you want is to give them as much information about your vision as possible.

TekRevol provides mobile app development services for an educational nonprofit. They're handling the front- and backend of an interactive web application that provides social and emotional support to students.
The solution has brought the partner's vision to life. TekRevol is delivering high quality at a cost-effective price. Their team is easy to work with and dedicated to the project's success. They excel in project management and providing status updates. Communication is a hallmark of their work.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the executive director of Project Impact Mississippi. Our organization is an educational nonprofit based out of Mississippi. Our goal is to provide resources for schools, students, and teachers around the state. One of the main objectives is to fit into the gap of education where teachers do a great job but need a little bit of support to help them throughout the school year.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with TekRevol?
We identified the need to have a tool that students could use for the social and emotional support that they need. It’ll allow them to speak to counselors, therapists, and psychologists around the country, including the state of Mississippi. We brought on TekRevol to build that tool.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
TekRevol is creating an interactive web application for us. The solution will allow students to securely log in and tell us how they’re feeling that day. It will offer schools the opportunity to get a read on the pulse of their students throughout the school day. In real-time, they’ll be able to look at how their students are feeling.
From there, we created a library of content for students to read through and journal about. We created the content and information for them to respond to and get an idea of what they think about certain topics that are current, for example, social injustice.
I had a lot of ideas. TekRevol created the mockups and showed me what the app could look like. Their team talked me through the different steps of what the backend of the system would look like from the reporting aspect to what the students would see.
Right now, we’re in the beta phase. The web designers and developers are currently building it. Our project manager contacts us 3–4 times a week to give us an update on what they’re doing. The backend of the system is built now, and we’re currently testing it.
What is the team composition?
I work with Ryan (Partner) and Abeer (Founding Partner & CMO).
How did you come to work with TekRevol?
They found me through a personal Facebook post I made looking for someone to build a web app. TekRevol went above and beyond to give me an idea of how this could be possible. I had an idea but couldn’t visualize it.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ll invest $35,000 for this project.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing engagement started around September 2020.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They brought my vision to life and explained the process to us very well. TekRevol has a great team that’s extremely fun to work with. It’s been amazing to see the project come to life as it has. We didn’t think we could afford to build the type of product that we’re building. It’s about half the cost we thought with extremely high quality. That’s been amazing to see. I have nothing but positive comments about TekRevol.
How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management has been the most impressive part to me. We haven’t been left out of the loop of knowing each part of what’s going on with this application. I can give Ryan or Abeer a call at any time and they’ll be responsive. I have great confidence in the project. They’ve kept us informed at every stage of the process. We know what we’re getting. We use Asana for project management.
What did you find most impressive about them?
It’s been an awesome experience. It feels like we’re a family. We have a good time and laugh about things throughout our call. It’s a comfortable way to do business with people when we don’t have to worry about strict guidelines of what has to be done.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing comes to mind.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Don’t hold back on any of your ideas or goals you want to accomplish. I’m not tech-savvy so it’s amazing to see that I dreamt it and they built it. They’ll be able to make it happen for you.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder of Younit, an app for apartment leasing.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with TekRevol?
We needed help with app development, specifically the discovery phase first.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
TekRevol typed up the entire scope of work for the first phase of the project that we’re going to base everything off of. They sent us the original version and we had to mark a few things up. We ended up getting it dialed in and everything was agreed upon.
What is the team composition?
I worked with one person for this particular phase of the project.
How did you come to work with TekRevol?
We found them through a Google search. We did a few interviews and they were the company that we ended up settling with and liked the most.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent a little over $5,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with them in September 2020, and our engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’re all impressed with everything so far, and we have no complaints.
How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate via Zoom meetings. TekRevol’s scheduling has been perfect, and we use Asana to track deadlines. We haven’t been behind by any means. We’re moving well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
So far, their communication has been great. They usually respond to us faster than we can respond to them, which we appreciate.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing comes to mind. So far, so good.

TekRevol acts as a white label web designer, providing web services for dry cleaner owners to modernize their businesses. Given the clientele, they strive to create SEO-friendly sites at an affordable rate.
TekRevol sets up each site with Google Analytics to boost the end clients' web presence, and their work never has to be redone. The team is timely, follows a smooth workflow, and breaks down technical concepts in layperson terms.
The client submitted this review online.
BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
Senior VP of integration and operations. Drop Locker is a complete enterprise software, equipment and operations solution for laundry and dry cleaners.
Developed out of Laundry Locker, one of the nation's first and largest locker-based delivery systems, the Drop Locker platform powers your business - from Drop Stores to Laundry Lockers - Our patented software, lockers and operations tools provide all the tools you need to get the best out of your business.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire TekRevol?
We are a very small team that needs help with white labeling our new clients. Most all of our clients are Dry Cleaning owners and are taking the big leap into stepping up their software when choosing to go with us and TekRevol is there to help them make their business look the best it can.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed a company that would be able to work quickly and at a reasonable rate. Dry Cleaners are known to be very frugal so Tekrevol hits the mark on all fronts.
SOLUTION
How did you select TekRevol?
I had a conversation with the CEO back in the early days of the company and we connected on many levels. We wanted to create a bigger and deeper partnership in the future. However, at the moment we are starting small and looking to grow into that relationship later.
Describe the project in detail.
Dry Cleaners are not the most tech savoy to say the least. TekRevol not only builds them an amazing website (dry cleaning can be dull but not when TekRevol gets involved) but skins their communications emails, boosts their web presence with SEO and google analytics etc
TekRevol offers very affordable rates for these services (dry cleaners tend to be on the frugal side) with a break down on each service in a language that even a five year old could grasp.
What was the team composition?
Not sure how to answer this other than to say...we gotta guy :) Sam is our go to when managing our partners websites and other needs. He works fast and clean. He responds quickly to my emails and questions and of all the clients he works with I have only received good feedback from them.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Nothing at the moment. Only that our dev team never has to re do any work that is sent our way from the Tekrevol team.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Our workflow runs slicker than a river of WD-40. 10/10 on all their deliverables being timely and smooth.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I like supporting local. They dont outsource their work.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Right now everything is running smooth. My feedback on change is to change nothing. Keep up the good work.

TekRevol created a white-label mobile app solution for a digital agency. They worked directly with their partner’s clients to address bugs and ensure testing went smoothly.
The project increased revenue, leading to a significant ROI. TekRevol was transparent and hands-on throughout the engagement. They supported their partners throughout the process and upheld all agreements.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the managing director of CydoMedia, LLC, and I’ve been with the company for the past five years. We’re a digital agency specialized in working with young entrepreneurs and startups, building out their businesses in the digital space. We help them build their brands, promote their businesses, and market everything.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with TekRevol?
When the digital space started shifting from computers to mobile devices, we were on the hunt for companies that could help us find a solution for one of the major problems.
Nowadays, users want an app for everything, and we were getting a lot of bad feedback about our client’s websites and e-commerce stores. They weren’t profiting like they used to. They wanted to move over to mobile apps, but our client base doesn’t have tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars to invest in mobile apps.
We reached out to TekRevol for a white label solution that we could give to our clients. We’d take their e-commerce websites and convert them over to mobile apps through a predefined solution. It helped us maintain their apps and provide back-office support. Every one of our clients that’s moved from an e-commerce site to an e-commerce app is satisfied and is on a retainer plan with us.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
TekRevol developed the entire white label solution. We had a test run with one of our clients during the beta phase. TekRevol didn’t mind getting directly in touch with our client. They provided tech support over the phone and got things set up for them. They made sure that the beta testing went absolutely perfect, and they made sure any bugs were solved accordingly.
What is the team composition?
I was initially in contact with Abeer (Founding Partner & CMO), with whom I had a few discussions before we signed off on anything. We had a second call with Josh (Marketing Manager) and Ryan (Partner), after their proposal came through. As the project got rolling, Asim (Founding Partner & CTO), Estes (Senior Project Manager & Business Developer), and one other person got involved as the tech leads. Estes was the project manager I dealt with.
The team working on this consisted of three UI designers, one native Android developer, one native iOS developer, and one cross-platform developer.
How did you come to work with TekRevol?
Like anyone else, the first thing I did when I decided to do this was open Google. I chose TekRevol because Abeer told me that the idea I had wasn’t going to work and that I was wasting my money.
He told me that he didn’t want to run me into the ground, but my ideas were impractical and not favorable for our clients. He followed up with me a couple of hours later, saying that he had a word with the CTO, and they wanted to set up a second call.
On that second call, they revamped and took a lot of cons out of my idea, then provided me a solution. It was lined up with my initial idea, but in a different manner. When I saw that solution actually coming to life, I was very satisfied that they did it.
The tipping point for me was what TekRevol said and how they did it. Other competitors I spoke to told me that they could do exactly what I wanted, and that they’d charge me this much. They just agreed to what I wanted, and no one had their own idea. I didn’t just want someone to say yes to what I wanted; I wanted someone to analyze and understand my idea and tell me whether or not it’s feasible. If not, I wanted to know what I could do, and, if it was feasible, I wanted to know how. TekRevol was the only one that actually did that for me.
How much have you invested with them?
The initial development was $90,000, and we’re paying them a retainer of around $20,000 per month for support (approximately $330,000 in total).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with TekRevol around September 2019.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’m not a tech person, so it’s hard for me to measure code quality. I’ve seen my ROI double itself after the app came in. Even though I’m paying almost an arm and a leg on a monthly basis, I’m earning double from my clientele.
How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?
The transparency level was fantastic. They were available whenever I had a concern or question. I was very hands-on during the UI design phase because I wanted to make sure that what we put out there was appealing. When I told them this, TekRevol had the three UI designers present for all our Zoom meetings.
We were near development in February or March 2020, when the pandemic started, but we still needed to make changes to the UI. Even then, they were hands-on. They’d have Zoom calls from home to work on the changes with me. Nobody expected or prepared for the pandemic, but TekRevol came through for me.
What did you find most impressive about them?
It’s their level of transparency. Other vendors I’ve worked with treated me as just another client they were doing business with, but the venture with TekRevol was very different. They didn’t treat me as a client or as just another business opportunity. They were attentive whenever I didn’t know what to do next.
We made some amendments for new things that needed to be added, and they came to me with proposals before I asked for them. They upheld all initial agreements, but there were things I forgot to mention. They identified those aspects during the later stages, and they took the liberty of incorporating them. They made sure the product we completed was at 100% capacity.
Are there any areas they could improve?
This is hard to answer. There were a few meetings they missed, but that happened once or twice during the entire process, and they notified me 10–15 minutes in advance. Telling me one day before would’ve been amazing, but a 15-minute heads-up is normal.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
I’d say that the client would be making the right choice. I only know the team selected to work on my application, but those people were amazing.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of the Open Tab App, which allows people to open a tab and not forget their credit cards. We plan to launch the platform soon.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with TekRevol?
We needed a partner to bring our idea to the table.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had ideas for the design, but TekRevol also brought their creativity. Their team created wireframes, essentially drawing the entire app on three sheets of paper. They built our platform from scratch, developing the platform for iOS and Android. Their team will also help us with our marketing strategy.
What is the team composition?
We work with a lead developer who directs a team from TekRevol. He runs the program on our side and delivers information from us to his team. We also communicate with Ryan (Partner) who provides great customer service.
How did you come to work with TekRevol?
I tweeted about my need for a development team, and multiple people responded. TekRevol was one of the first five companies that I communicated with. I saw their previous work on their website. It was modern, smooth, and clean. TekRevol was also new to the game, and I love giving people chances.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent roughly $33,000 over the course of the engagement.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started talking in October 2019, and we’re still working together.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We haven’t been disappointed. Working with them, it’s like we’re flying first-class on the best jet. They provide first-class customer service and results.
Based on their work so far, I wouldn’t work with any company besides TekRevol. We absolutely trust them. Their team’s been incredible.
How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re better with deadlines than us. Their team's on top of their game. We never worry about getting in contact with them. The communication’s awesome. Even if they’re super busy, they’re willing to schedule a 30-minute meeting to go over the project. If their team encounters a challenge, they let us know.
What did you find most impressive about them?
TekRevol gives us their time, even when they’re swamped. Their team broke down the entire project to a level of detail that I’ve never seen before. They thought of tasks that I didn’t even consider. Their team’s particular and smooth.
Are there any areas they could improve?
As of right now, no. They’ve been great.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be serious because you don’t want to waste anyone’s time. If you’re ready to bring your idea to life, they’re the company to go with. Their team’s on top of their game and gets the work done.
