We needed to build an e-commerce platform.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Tekglide has been helping us with our e-commerce launch. Initially, we sat down with Ali and showed them the scope of our product line and what we were looking for. Tekglide showed us different platforms they had previously built and what they needed from us to launch the project. After the discovery phase, we gathered the data and sent it to Tekglide. 

Tekglide has used Magento to build the platform from scratch. They’ve also set up our Nexcess hosting server and done all the development work there. Tekglide continues to help us with anything we need on the site.

Tekglide has also provided SEO services. We’ve worked closely with them on keyword research.

We’ve worked with around eight teammates, including project managers and developers. A team of four teammates is involved in our SEO efforts.

We found them through a Google search. We interviewed a handful of companies and thought Tekglide was a good fit after meeting with Ali and Asif, so we hired them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re definitely seeing growth. The SEO work is starting to appear on the e-commerce side. We’d like to see more growth, but we know getting the site to grow on Google is a process. We were unaware of a restriction on the site: orders couldn't be over $1,000. Once Tekglide lifted that restriction, within a couple of weeks, we saw orders coming through with those volumes.

How did Tekglide perform from a project management standpoint?

Tekglide’s project management is excellent. Communication has been great via Google Meet and email, and all team members are professional and to the point. Tekglide is good at outlining the project in Basecamp and the step-by-step process for how they want data organized. 

Tekglide is quick to address any bugs. If it’s a simple fix, they’ll fix it quickly. Otherwise, they go through the proper channels to get it fixed. 

Are there any employees from the service line that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Asif has been great. He’s been our point of contact throughout the whole process and has gone above and beyond to answer my questions. He has walked us through the backend of Magento and taught us things we can do on our own. He has been an integral part of the process.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with how promptly Tekglide responds and gets solutions for any issues we run into.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Tekglide should be more transparent about how they need data. We’ve had to change the formatting a couple of times. We’d like more clarity on how they need the data so we can get it done in one touch rather than multiple.

This  large website was a start up, that was not completed, on Wix - this platform was not effectively serving what the needs of the service was. The project included:

1. Migrating Wix to Wordpress, maintaining security measures
2. Re-designing many of the pages for aesthetics and website optimization
3. Selection of appropriate working tools and plug ins for EMS and optimal subscriber use
4. Collaboration and implementation for LMS- which was Learn-dash 
5. Email annual subscription collaboration
6. Optimatization of website, LMS and use for subscriber based annual subscription also providing individual services not part of subscription

1. Quality of work demonstrated in design and operation of the website itself- rate immeasurably higher than any prior work done by website compnay

This area was exceptional. Basecamp was the app used for regular exchange of work and Moiz who was the project manager was phenomenal - with integrity, communication and ability to understand my needs as a client. This had many complexities to it, and the flow was uncomplicated and smooth. Different than many prior experiences of inconsistencies in what prior companies said and what they did, Moiz was clear and consistent with progress report statuses.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

In one word integrity.

Moiz represents the company as a leader in this area, being responsive, caring and extremely smart and effective at resolving any problems that came up. As a start up, I'd had some poor experiences working with either freelancers or other companies. At the time I was re-interviewing companies, Moiz was the first person I'd ever spoken to that listened in a way and spoke in a way that convinced me this was the company to work with to be successful. I have a service of value that warrants success, so I feel fortunate to have found this company.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Tekglide could have done differently?

To date, I don't have any suggestions- they are a top tier team. Moiz demonstrates he is a great collaborator with his team, making sure all the details get worked out well- since I am the recipient of seeing the outcome.

I'm the marketing manager of a company that sells recovery system products for athletes. Our products include massage guns, recovery systems for the legs, vibrating foam rollers, cushions, and therapy technology. We sell our products in the US through Amazon and our website.

We needed support to manage our digital advertising on Google and Amazon, develop our website, and manage SEO and email marketing.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we shared our company's information with Tekglide, and the team conducted market research on our competitors in the US. Then, Tekglide matched their research information with the data we provided, and after the analysis, we created a written plan with Tekglide's development and technical team. The team has created a strategy, the first stage of which is developing product pages on our company's website. 

We've defined the required improvements for our site, and after that, Tekglide has fixed issues on our Google Ads account that we couldn't resolve. We had troubles and bans in the past, and the team has helped us resolve this issue in one month by contacting Google's support team. The team manages our PPC campaigns on Google Ads and Amazon Ads and has implemented email marketing campaigns. 

Lastly, Tekglide has done keyword research to define our SEO strategy and shared the information with us. We've gone through the strategy's implementation together, and the team has selected keywords we've approved.

We value the results delivered by Tekglide because they've recovered our Google Ads account. After that, we've seen an increase of around 80% in our web traffic. Tekglide is in the process of increasing our conversions, although that is a longer process that involves many aspects of our e-commerce.

How did Tekglide perform from a project management standpoint?

Tekglide alwas delivers work on time. We have weekly meetings via Google Meet and sometimes two meetings a week, depending on the work. We collaborate through Basecamp.

I want to highlight our project manager and Abbas (Business Development Manager). Although Abbas isn't working on our project anymore, we started working with him, and he was really good.

The helped us with Navigation issues, gift registry, checkout features such as gift messaging, donations, Afterpay, gift card setup, wishlist configuration, SEO tagging, Yotpo reviews integration, site refreshes, refer-a-friend features, packing slip issues and promotions troubleshooting.

We are on vastly different time zones, so our working hours only overlap about 3-4 hours/day. That has lead to fluid timelines on some items, but they've always followed through. Some items took longer than they should've for troubleshooting and it was hard to get a firm timeline from them. Overall, they are competent and reliable, I just wish at times I had more clarity on their availability.

I asked for more transparency with hours consumption but the reporting back wasn't consistent.

We had previous work done by Tekglide for our national ecommerce website, so we knew the excellent quality and value of their work.

We gave Tekglide access to our old site, asking them to recreate it into a Magento 2 store. They installed it on a staging server, and brought over the static pages and menu. Then they installed the plugins we needed.

The website worked well, but we soon discovered our own need for a multisite. We had them redevelop the site into a multisite installation. Everything worked well, and now we are able to maintain one catalog while selling on two different websites.
