What challenge were you trying to address with Tejora Private Limited?
We needed some skilled resources for staff augmentation.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They provided resources for development projects that work collaboratively with our internal teams. They worked on our domain, established VPNs, point to point connections, and more.
What is the team composition?
The team varied in size from 18–22, consisting of technical developers and team leads.
How did you come to work with Tejora Private Limited?
I worked with them previously, so I recommended them for the projects. Our technical team looked through their skills and decided they were a good fit.
How much have you invested with them?

What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from January 2018–March 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They were pretty stable once they established the resources. They were open to replacing any resources that didn’t mesh with our in-house team well. They’re very focused on their skills, and we were satisfied overall.
How did Tejora Private Limited perform from a project management standpoint?
There were some challenges, which is to be expected. Overall, they were pretty good. We communicated via email, calls, and video conferences.

It would be good to keep the recruitment pipeline more stable.

Work closely with them, articulate the project requirements, and treat them like a partner rather than a vendor.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a consultant for a financial services technology company. We have systems that are used by large banks and other customers for payment services including a payment gateway.
What challenge were you trying to address with Tejora Private Limited?
We were short on in-house resources because we had too many projects going on. We were looking at third parties to fill those positions. We were looking for a team that had expertise in the payments domain. We wanted a mixed hybrid team.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Tejora did the wireframing and initial UI/UX for our platform. They had four people who were working with Java. We’re looking at getting more resources to start another project.
What is the team composition?
There are 10 people. A few people work with me directly and some people work with the other team members. There’s also a project manager who works very closely with me, as well as a couple of business analysts, a couple of dev ops, four Java developers, and one UI/UX person.
How did you come to work with Tejora Private Limited?
We compared some vendors, and Tejora were really price competitive and happy to take smaller projects and take risks. They were able to come up to speed very quickly. They’re very approachable.
Their key team is quite interactive in the customer day-to-day work. They have a lot of payment domain expertise. I had worked with them earlier in my career and found them to be very suitable in the business domain and they also have a fairly good amount of expertise on the dev ops, Java side.
How much have you invested with them?
$125,000-$250,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in June 2019 and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Tejora's support is substantial in terms of their client-facing ability, especially the project manager and the business analysts. We’ve introduced them to a few of our banking clients. Their feedback has been fairly positive. We’re growing the relationship based on what we’ve seen so far.
How did Tejora Private Limited perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re very forthcoming and agile in terms of getting the resources up to speed and their own training programs. They’ve been very supportive. The timeline and cost are both followed very well. We get various reports that are managed through the project management tool we use.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re very forthcoming about what is and what isn’t possible. Tejora doesn’t commit to something they can’t do. In our projects, many times the requirements aren’t very clear upfront. Over time, they become clear. They’re very nimble.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could make the relationship they want to build with their client more defined and the kind of growth opportunities they want to seek with their client. That’s the one thing that is missing in terms of interacting with various levels of the management team and the client.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Go to them with a high level scope. Have a discussion with them. Wait for them to come back with a structure proposal. As a client, I’d rather have an interactive session or workshop upfront to share my requirements and allow them to share their take on those requirements.

The Tejora team has done an excellent job developing and delivery commercial quality software for the healthcare industry in the US. They have been the sole software developer for our product suite.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
I communicate with the Tejora project lead on a daily basis. The Tejora. We use an agile software development process, so the team is flexible as requirements change over time. The team responds quickly and effectively when changes are required.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The team works very hard, and produces high quality results. Team members appear fully invested in our mission and do whatever is required to make it successful.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the vice president of a private sector bank. We are one of the biggest private sector banks in India, and we sell different banking products.
What challenge were you trying to address with Tejora Private Limited?
We had a new product and we needed custom software development.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They developed a collections application for us that has different functionalities. The product allows tenders to be launched. No one is able to view the vendor until the tenders are closed. There were a lot of different workflows that were built into this particular product.
In addition to the offer list, there is a collection product that is configured inside our application. There is also an invoicing functionality in the application. Along with those categories, there is also a payment gateway integration for collection.
What is the team composition?
I interacted directly with two or three people including a project manager and a business analyst, and internally, there was a team of 20 to 30 people who were working on the implementation. They included UI/UX people, business analysts, QA testers, and developers.
How much have you invested in them?
We have spent between $100,000–$250,000 USD.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in April 2017, and the work is still ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The product is doing quite well. They have built a lot of customization and have been able to do it in a very short amount of time.

Most of the time the deadlines have been met. The quality was quite good, and we have not had any major issues.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They understood my perspective any time I gave them any feedback or direction. They have a good team of people who have good product knowledge. Whenever I had any requirements, they were able to help me with a solution from end to end. They offered a lot of tactical input.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No. There isn’t anything specific I can think of right now.

They have a large, multifaceted team. Instead of going to a number of vendors for development, Tejora will be able to deliver what you need.
The team at Tejora Private Limited was committed and focused throughout the process. They also adapted according to feedback from the client. Overall, the client was very satisfied with the outcome of the partnership.
