BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m an electrical engineer that runs three companies. The COVID-19 pandemic has been difficult, but our small companies are surviving.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Techseria?

I had an idea for an e-trade website where manufacturers and traders from all around the world could meet up and do some business together, either B2B and B2C.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Techseria is developing my site and app for Android and iOS. The platforms will allow clients to load product descriptions, prices, pictures, and related documents. They will have a main page where they’ll be able to adjust the prices.

What is the team composition?

Including Niraj (Managing Director), I’ve worked with 6–7 people from Techseria across the mobile, web, and backend sides.

How did you come to work with Techseria?

Once I came up with the idea, I started looking for companies that could build it. I’m an engineer, but not an IT person.

I met with Techseria and discussed the details of what we could do and how we could do it. We had discussions over a period of 3 to 4 months, and we drafted up a contract.

I have a few LinkedIn connections through my London company, and I got in touch with Niraj there. We started to chat about my idea, first on LinkedIn and then across several phone and video calls.

We agreed on a project layout, and they started from there.

How much have you invested with them?

The project cost is below $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with Techseria in February 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m still testing the platform, but I’m happy with the results so far. The project is planned to be completed by the summer of 2021.

The parts I’ve tested are working fine, and Techseria is providing good support. They’re a good company, and I’m sure that they could satisfy the needs of any other customer.

How did Techseria perform from a project management standpoint?

Whenever I send them an email, I get an immediate response. They’ve met deadlines, even though we’re living in difficult times.

People are mainly working from home, and it’s not easy to gather them into one point. Still, it was quite fine. They put in the maximum effort to meet the deadlines.

I’ve worked with two project managers from Techseria, and both were quite understanding and supportive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed with their business understanding. They’re results-oriented rather than having a money-oriented attitude.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’d like to see them grow, work with more customers, and become a global company. I’m not a programming expert, but I think that Techseria is doing well in this area. They should continue improving themselves and adapting to the changing business world.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re not a money-oriented company, so clients can easily discuss their projects with their team. If they’re given a clear explanation of the requirements, they’ll come up with the best ideas.

I’m sure that clients will be very happy with the pricing and results.
