Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the national sales manager of National Tire and Wheel.
What challenge were you trying to address with Technology Services Group?
They do a lot of technical stuff for us.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They do web stuff, build web apps allowing us to enter products into our system that automatically populates through an Excel spreadsheet. They also do maintenance on our hardware once a week.
They’ve also done some design work for us. They designed our newer logo that we updated 10 years ago. Right now, we’re discussing modifying our app since we moved our website over to a new platform. They’re also going to start working with another of our vendors soon.
Finally, they manage our computers and servers and respond to our calls and emails very quickly.
What is the team composition?
We have one person come in and work on the hardware once a week. Then, we have their web team working on the development stuff; we work with two of their people.
How did you come to work with Technology Services Group?
I liked how they planned out everything first and showed me how they were going to do everything. They were very thorough and professional.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $50,000–$200,000 with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since January 2010.

Any problems we have they’re very fast at fixing. They’re a good company that does good work; we haven’t had any issues with them.

They’re easy to contact and have maintained the mindset of maintaining our computers and servers.

They’re right on top things with quick service. If we have a problem, they fix it. We don’t have to wait for days to get ahold of them.

No, not really. We’ve been quite pleased with them.

Discuss your plans with them first. They’ll give you estimates on everything. Being thorough will help prevent expenses from changing.
