Liberty Liquors is a fully independent retailer which is synonymous with the WA Wine and Liquor industry. This is a resurrection of a brand which was very much part and trusted by the residents of WA. There were over 14,000,000 customer transactions per year, in WA, which bear testimony to the appreciation and loyalty to the brand.
Working closely with the Liberty liquors team & POS system, we planned, designed and developed the front-end of the Liberty Liquor’s website; a COMPLETE user experience.
This was a considerable feat given the variables and permutations existing across their impressive range of products. Some products are available for pickup in store, many products are available for delivery. In some circumstances, even if a product is out of stock, it can still be delivered AND MANY MORE…
Ensuring that users see the right price and stock availability without obtrusively asking for their location and details is quite a challenge.
After considerable planning and analysis, we designed an interface that simplified the process to the extent that a Liberty Liquors’ customer can always be sure that they’re looking at the right information right through to checkout. GBI Logistics provide a 3PL (Third Party Logistics) service for a number of clients, in the Perth Metro and Outer Metro areas, that incorporates dedicated warehouse space and also provides an installation service of white goods by fully trained staff. GBI Logistics controls 17,000 square metres of floor space and has the plant and facility to cope with any matter of product from high quality electrical goods to large slabs of stone.
GBI Logistics warehouses and distributes products for over 25 leading brand names to all manner of customers including door to door, retail outlets, cabinet makers and construction sites. I am the Group Business Systems Analyst managing all IT systems for the group.

We required support to make changes and updates to our iOS application and Ruby on Rails (RoR) web portal as we needed to upgrade components and add new features to improve the application.
We required a Stack upgrade of our RoR platform and backend database upgrades as well required by our service providers.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We are a 3PL and Logistics company servicing a niche market within Western Australia. We developed a fully stacked end-to-end native IOS app and required the extensions of this to be either recreated or built from scratch. We employed Tech Dilation for this purpose and found them to be much more price-competitive than if we were to complete the whole development locally.
They were tasked with reviewing all current code on both iOS and RoR platforms and understand our procedures and processes and implement new features, user requests and upgrades to the backend and development stack as a whole.

We have a dedicated Snr RoR Developer working on changes to the Web Portal who has been working with a Snr iOS Developer. Both are managed by the Project Management team at TechDilation

We have a Salesforce platform to manage the recruitment process, TimePro & XERO for timesheets and invoice management respectively; but the data needs to be transferred from one tool to another manually via XLS sheets. Hence, there was a need to automate to save time and improve accuracy.
Integrating with third-party tools was another requirement of the project. I was not able to use the tools optimally earlier as they were not linked. We were spending a lot of time in manual processes and accuracy was always questionable. Hence, there was a need to automate it to get additional information from candidates as well as integrating with third-party tools like TimePro and XERO.

We have a long history of working with them and their proficiency in providing staff augmentation is unparalleled. They have excellent coordination with us which helped in completing the project on time with amazing results.

TechDilation team started the discussion to understand the end-to-end process to identify the automation opportunities and integrations with third-party service provider tools. We developed forms on Salesforce to collect information, cleaned up the existing database, and integrated with TimePro and XERO to ensure a smooth transition of data. I was personally impressed with their testing skills to ensure that there were no surprises once it moved to production

At the very first meeting, I've been assigned a dedicated project manager; recurring meetings were scheduled along with a front-end developer and senior Salesforce developer. As I recognized their detailed background, it really helped me understand their expertise and gain confidence in their work.

The team achieved the set target earlier than expected surpassing my expectations. They even suggested improvements in our internal processes and the most important facet of the entire dialogue was the fact that Dheeraj and his team always responded on time.

The team co-ordinated with us once a week via reports along with virtual meetings to update the details and take necessary actions whenever required. They provided me with a project plan and strictly adhered to the set timeline.

Time is changing rapidly specifically in retail world, every minute is important and translates into loss or profit depends on you along with your technology partner reaction to it; We onboarded TechDilation Solutions to convert our thoughts into reality by developing a completely customised e-commerce portal with both ways integration with our POS system and multiple third party tools integrations i.e. google maps, blogs, payment gateway-NAB integration and much more. Lastly, added capability to modify text and background at our level with no or minimal interaction with developers.

Goal was to develop our own fully customised eCommerce portal to provide customers an easy access to view and chose from complete catalogue commensurate more than 10,000 items without getting on the wheels and eventually increase the revenue for us and prompt people to visit our store to increase the footfall. Mid 2019, Dheeraj has created a detailed project plan including clear roles and responsibilities, timelines, what all is required from us, created a team, divided the project in 3 phases, develop the prototype, designed few design options to chose from and developed the phase 1 within 45 days and delivered 1 day before what he agreed. e-Commerce portal was ready to hit the market in 45 days including designing, code development, testing, Payment gateway(NAB) integration and an initial integration with our POS plus stock management third party tool.

Team includes a dedicated project manager, 2 Graphic Designer, 3 Developer and 2 tester and all the communication was done by Dheeraj: Co-Founder & Technical Director, which really helped to fasten the decision making.

TechDilation was recommended by one of my repeated client. we have reviewed couple of more options but did not go through due to confidence and cost associated. Also, project was impacting our top line, it was critical to find a partner who is ready to put their skin in the game and deliver it within the specified time frame.

s a first step, i was assigned a dedicated project manager and she conducted a detailed workshop to brainstorm and documented detailed scope of work along with timelines, we talked what, why, when and how the solution will be designed, developed and delivered.
As a next step, We scheduled meetings to review the progress on every 2 weeks. Dheeraj (Co-Founder and Technical Director) was involved personally to ensure we are delivering the BEST product with minimum hick ups.
They designed a team led by project manager including Designer, Developer and tester and all the communication was done by project manager which really eliminated the possibility of ambiguity or rework.
Dheeraj will always be a part of sprint review and share his experience and kudos to their flexibility and openness to change. Continuous testing was the key driver to ensure they are delivering the sustainable solutions. Post 8 weeks, every week they will the scenario's that they have tested and change is in progress along with list of scenarios to be tested next week.
Overall, i really like the way that they have managed the overall project and delivered one week before to agreed timelines.
