I’m the IT manager at Advanced Nutrients and I run the IT department with a team of seven. Our company has been around for 21 years and sells mixes of fertilizers for cannabis.

What challenge were you trying to address with TECHBLEED?

Our company has been growing non-stop every quarter. In my two years of working there, I’ve hired more than 30 vendors to help set up the network, security cameras, and WiFi access points in our different locations. We needed the same type of work done in our warehouse and license office in California, so we hired TECHBLEED.

What was the scope of their involvement?

TECHBLEED resolved an issue in our CEO’s house. We had a problem with the WiFi, and at that point, TECHBLEED has never done WiFi set-ups or maintenance for us. They didn’t have the technology or tools at hand, so the person they sent bought the hardware and the heatmap software. He trained himself on how to implement a solution for us, created a heat map for the house, and came back to us with a floor plan.

TECHBLEED has worked with us even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, and they, to this day, follow all safety protocols and guidelines. Their personnel would come in fully geared against the virus. 

What is the team composition?

We communicate with 1–2 people while 4–5 members from their company do the actual work.

How did you come to work with TECHBLEED?

TECHBLEED was already working with the company when I first got there. They had done some work for our other offices and locations. 

When we were trying to get several quotes to ensure we were getting the best price for this project, TECHBLEED’s quote always came out on top of everyone else’s. They are a little pricey, but they offer great value and have already done great work for us in the past, so I’ve always given them the chance to bid and get the job.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent over $250,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2019. We’ve run through around 3–4 projects and various other tasks with them throughout 2020, and we’re trying to get them to do one more job at the moment.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

All the systems in our warehouses and offices are working, and we’re all happy. TECHBLEED has done the best work out of all the other vendors that I’ve worked with. Their team always goes above and beyond to make sure we’re being taken care of. 

During one instance, they had to run fiber optic cable extensions from the entrance of our building all the way to our suite. They worked with the owner of the building really worked through weekends to get that done properly. It’s evidence of how they will always figure out a way to do the job. They’re really good at cable installation and management, making sure that everything is in the right place.

How did TECHBLEED perform from a project management standpoint?

We connect through Microsoft Teams where I can send them a chat every once in a while. When we need a job done, we simply call them for a site survey.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their demeanor and how they approach the work distinguishes them from other providers. TECHBLEED knows what they’re doing but they don’t come across as egotistical. They show that they truly care about what we need. They don’t expect us to know everything, so they ask the right questions and check if there’s anything that’s been missed. It gives us the impression that they try to explore all avenues to do what we ask of them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. They use a lot of great software and the person we’ve last worked closely with even showed us a few things that he does in the backend. I’m very impressed. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

There’s not much advice to give other than to work with TECHBLEED. You will not regret your decision.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

From day one, Techbleed has provided Grade A customer service and attentiveness to detail. We have never had any issues with their performance and we have yet to have any major difficulties affecting our IT, thanks to their professionalism.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective, they're communication skills are excellent and they are punctual and very responsive.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They provide excellent service and they have a Zero fail policy; we have never had any IT issues. That says something!

Are there any areas for improvement?

Honestly, no. They are an exemplary model for how an IT company should be run.
