I am the co-founder and partner of Uppercliff Consulting, which is based out of Mumbai

For what projects/services did your company hire Tarkashilpa Technologies, and what were your goals?

We hired Tarkashilpa to join our project and help our client to seamlessly migrate their current CRM platform from a monolithic application to a SaaS based model while enhancing the feature set of the product.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected this vendor after evaluating two other vendors and the core differentiating factors were -

3. Accountability

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The scope of work involved a few workstreams. Firstly the team successfully upgraded the front end technology for Angular 7.x to the latest version. They also efficiently supported the client's team in migrating the back end from Mongo DB to Postgres. Finally they developed additional functionalities within the CRM platform such as new client onboarding process and Purchase Order module.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There were 3 resources assigned to the project - 1 team lead and 2 mid level developers

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

All major deliverables on the project namely Angular version upgrade, re-architecting the platform to a SaaS model and building the scoped enhancements were done on time and as per the estimated budget.

The Project management style was largely consultative with the technical lead playing an important part in all delivery related decisions. The team used MS Teams and JIRA for collaborating across different locations.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

One of the most important feature if this company is that they take complete accountability for their scope of work and also help out other teams in delivering their scope. They proved their reliability in terms of quick risk identification that helped us manage mitigations effectively.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None that comes to my mind.
