We were looking for an agency as in the past we've had issues with single contractors not being up to the task of fulfilling our needs. We went with Taglineinfotech due to their candidate fulfilling our needs.

The requirements started out pretty small ( change copy, fix bugs etc. ) but over time we found that our hire was able to put together a number of javascript solutions as well. We were lacking in that area so that was a great find. The tech is largely Ruby on Rails and JQuery.

Currently one developer. We were looking for a mid level rails developer, and that's who we're working with.

We have been very happy with the results. Due to changes in requirements we've been able to leverage a lot of the javascript skills and move faster on a number of features than we would have before.

We communicate through Slack, and timelines are agile.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are fulfilling my requirements over the long term and that was what we were looking for.

After understanding each others work schedules ( due to being on different sides of the world ) we have been able to build a good troubleshooting schedule, especially when features don't work as expected.

Within 40 - 45 hours project was done and we will still continue for future update releases of the app.

We communicated through skype and slack.They are very organized. They always try to keep deadlines, and sending updates every single day and if something cannot be done until the deadline - they will always tell you and figure something out.

We were impressed with their speed and quick development and their knowledge about the specific language of app that they were using. We loved that they went above and beyond to improve the tasks that we didn't even notice had issues.

Not as my team and I experienced.

As part of the project we created a contact center platform on Twilio which allows around 70 agents to interact with the customer and move the business forward.

The developer I worked with was very talented and professional. The team takes up new challenges and finishes the project on time.

Initially for couple of weeks we had some timing issues because we work in different time zones.

We are getting close to launch now and it's been a tremendous help to have their developers on my team. They've taken on the development and freed up my time for more bigger picture items.

The thing I like about working with them is that they have people for any aspect of the development cycle.

Tagline Infotech is a wonderful and customer-centric company. As a UK based company, we had certain doubts when it came to working with international software development companies. Especially India was unknown for us because of the distance and very different culture and some UK companies that had issue working with India based software companies. Tagline infotech is different and I am so glad I found them.

I loved their 100% customer-centric approach and their amazing CTO Ajay who was always available to discuss any feedback and make us as customers happy. The customer-centric approach is definitely very unique and I did not have many other companies that are dedicated so much to clients’ satisfaction. I simply enjoyed working with them and I highly recommend them for any software projects. I am looking forward to working with them very soon again.

I worked a long time with Ajay and his team over multiple projects and they are my go-to developers regarding anything front and backend development with JS.

He's really fitted in React-JS (that's what we used in our projects), his code is beautiful and he tries to keep everything organized and simple - no spaghetti code, understandable code comments as well as documentation!

We communicated through skype and slack. Ajay and his team are very organized. They always try to keep deadlines, and if something cannot be done until the deadline - they will always tell you and figure something out.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are passionate about these projects and if you have a problem, for example, while you're at a customer showing the product, he'll fix it ASAP - he even goes that far and stays late to work just to be sure everything is working while having a presentation of the project, etc. He is a really fast learner and can work well on his own. If he makes mistakes he goes out and beyond to fix them.

Every day when he finished his work for the day he will tell you exactly what he finished, what is planned for tomorrow and what needs feedback etc. If he isn't available for a few days due to holidays etc. he'll tell you 2 weeks or more before. It's very easy to plan and organize your projects with Ajay and his team. If something doesn't make sense or seems unlogical he'll ask you questions until he really understands what you want from him.

He doesn't just start a task if he doesn't understand it. He asks questions and that is exactly the way it should be. Everything always turns out perfectly done. Even with very specific or experimental stuff he goes full in and tries to satisfy you in any way possible. Much of our project was very new and not something you see each day. Very complex but he managed to make the UI great every way he could.

The project was very complex but the user experience is great! If something doesn't exist he'll figure something out and it always worked for us, we created many great cutting edge technologies for different applications throughout the years we worked together. I'm very glad that I could work with Ajay and his team. And I hope we can continue working together in the future. Stay the way you are and keep on working in this manner!

I really have trouble answering this, as we didn't have any relevant problems with Ajay.

They applied for Upwork and based on their evaluations and our initial interview, the decision was easy.

We had a Kickoff Online Meeting where all requirements were discussed. The goal was to create a Web UI with ReactJS and to integrate all our existing API's (some still to be developed). It was important to us that our interface mockups were implemented 1:1 and that we could meet our deadline.

At the peak, four of their software developers worked with us.

We were able to present the demo site to some of our future customers and they were thrilled. We hope to get a lot of traffic from November on, because we will go live then.

We communicated via Skype. It was good that I could always have live contact with the software developers themselves without always having to go through a project manager. This drastically shortened the communication channels, which contributed to the success.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What my team and I were most excited about was that they were very quick in development and our user interface looked exactly like our mockups. We have experienced this differently in connection with other companies.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Basically I have nothing to criticize, they are a great and advanced company that also uses the latest technologies in connection with development.

I'm one of the partners of Akemona, Inc.

For what projects/services did your company hire TaglineInfotech, and what were your goals?

We hired TaglineInfotech to develop the web UI for the Akemona funding portal. This was a new UI that has to be able to allow investors to make an investment on the Akemona platform. At the same time, the UI allows potential issuers to issue securities on the Akemona platform.

The UI interfaces with blockchain using web3 API and several new and emerging technologies, e.g., ethereum wallets, smart contracts, etc.

SOLUTION

How did you select TaglineInfotech and what were the deciding factors?

Reviewed a large number of potential developers. Selected TaglineInfotech based on the software development skills and knowledge of their developers. Our assessment has proved to be correct, since the developers can understand new technologies and implement them effectively.

The scope of the work included development of responsive User Interfaces for investors and borrowers (issuers of securities) on the Akemona platform. The key deliverables included the same, investor front-end, borrower front-end, wizard, dashboards for investors and borrowers, wallet interfaces.

New technologies used included web3 and interfaces with blockchain and smart contracts. The UI had to be responsive, so that it worked across a majority of devices.

The work was done by Ajay Bhayani and his team. Ajay was the lead developer and he ensured that all the requirements were delivered accurately.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project is still under development. The investor UI is now getting close to completion. We are on track to launch beta testing this month. Our plan is to go live by the end of December. The programming has been delivered successfully on time.

The project code was managed through Gitlab. We used Skype and slack for communication related to project. In addition, we would it easier to share notes, PowerPoints through shared Google drive for explaining requirements. Skype was mostly used for screen sharing and voice communications.

Slack was used for communications for clarification of requirements during software development. The project is based on an Agile iterative methodology.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed with their software development skills and ability to execute correctly based on requirements.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I'm pretty satisfied. Therefore, can't think of anything specifically. Occasionally, there were some minor issues that took couple of repetitions to get right.

I’m the CEO of SupplementSnoop. It’s a smartphone app that scans and analyzes dietary supplements and provides scientific research behind it. It’s more research base, rather than marketing, and gives real information about supplements.

What challenge were you trying to address with TaglineInfotech?

We’ve worked on several things with them, but for our current project, we’re adding a user review section.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

TaglineInfotech is building our user review section and creating a way on the backend to monitor that process.

What is the team composition?

There are two that work with us.

How did you come to work with TaglineInfotech?

We interviewed a bunch of people, and after talking to one of their team members, it seemed like a good fit. We had a great conversation and they understood our vision really well.

How much have you invested with them?

It’s an ongoing project, but we spent between $5,000–$10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We first started working with them in January 2019, and the latest project we began started in January 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

 Since this project is still ongoing, I can only really talk about the previous projects they’ve worked on. They did a great job on the first project, so we decided to keep working with them. We demand a lot, but they’ve always delivered. Their technical skills are great, and the app turned out really well.

How did TaglineInfotech perform from a project management standpoint?

Their communication is really good—that’s a big deal for us. We have to trust them to do what we need to accomplish, but they reassured us by communicating really thoroughly. It’s been a really good experience.

We work around the clock, which can be really demanding for other teams. But they were always on the ball. They worked off-hours when there were emergencies. We really appreciated that, because technical issues don’t always arise according to someone’s clock.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When things go wrong, they were good at adapting and problem-solving on the fly. That is obviously the key to stuff like this. Coding is one thing, but being able to communicate and deliver when problems arise, is something else.

Are there any areas they could improve?

When we did the initial project, they were really good. But during our most recent project, their communication hasn’t been as strong. Of course, we’ve talked to them about it and the project is still ongoing. Up until now, though, they’ve been fantastic.
