They helped me bring my app to life and tailor fit it for my vision. The design is impeccable and a lot of the testers have complimented it.

The whole team is great at communication. If they can’t meet a deadline, they let us know ahead of time and explain why.

You need to match their communication. They want you to express yourself so they can get the best understanding of what you want. They won’t be able to read your mind.

What was the scope of their involvement?

SYNERGY created a whole spec of what this would look like. It’s a layout of what the app would look design-wise. They also mapped out the parts they would need to build, such as geo-location functionality, registration, and payment processing — all the areas a customer would need to purchase our services.

I worked with two people: Reaz (CEO) and another person.

It was a 2–3-week project around February 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s rare that I work with a vendor like SYNERGY that just gets it right away. However, after a long conversation, Reaz understood what we needed very quickly. His intuition came from his experience with similar projects.

I was also impressed with his persistence. He was in touch with me in early January, and it took until mid-February for the project to get going. I’m confident that if we were to go forward, we’d likely work with him.

The project was straightforward, and the deadlines were perfect. SYNERGY did what they said they would do for a price that made sense. We also own the work they provided for us, which is important to us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

SYNERGY never sold me something I didn’t need. Everything seemed really efficient, smart, and well-thought-out. Reaz was more concerned that I was comfortable working with them than he was trying to impress me.

No, I’m really, really happy with their work. Everything went well. There was nothing negative in our interactions.

Just be clear about what you’re looking for, and Reaz will get it.

We had a lot of problems initially with the third-party but everything was corrected and solved by Reaz (CEO)

The communication was by email and phone.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Reaz was quick and efficient. He had good follow-up and took pride in his work. Additionally, he really cared, which is what everyone wants at the end of the day. He helped us resolve what the third-party wasn’t able to resolve.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, he was great. I would consider him rehiring him for the hotel itself.

What is the status of this engagement?

I believe we began working back in January 2016. We’re still working together.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I can confidently say that on every project that we introduced SYNERGY Consulting, we’ve only received high marks, high scores, excellent referrals, and excellent feedback from clients. There’s a reason the relationship has lasted many years.

How did SYNERGY Consulting perform from a project management standpoint?

There are minimal check-ins on my side. If I come to them with a problem, they come to me with a solution, and I give them free reign to do that.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It’s tough to boil everything they do well down to one thing. SYNERGY Consulting has a strong ability to understand things in a multidimensional way. They’re able to look at a situation I have an idea for, and come up with multiple ideas and plan it out six steeps down the road. Their multilayered understanding of the situation gives them an edge and keeps me coming back.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Nobody’s perfect, and there’s always ways to improve. But, that’s the answer I’ll give for anyone.

I would set up a conversation with them. You’ll have an honest conversation, discuss things, and set up a game plan. They’re honest, very straight-shooters, extremely knowledgeable, and excellent at technical skills.

I’m the founder and CEO of JLD Evaluations. We started off as an evaluation service; we do independent educational evaluations and neuropsychological evaluations for students who are struggling to perform in school. We try to get a holistic picture of the student, not just working in a clinic or an office but also going into the school and working with the school and the parents.

We’re moving into our second phase now: developing a project to help schools with their data collection and management. Students are often being referred and addressed, and we discover a lot of scattered information in school records that harm student’s performance. We help schools organize and analyze the data they’re collecting. SYNERGY is our software development partner.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They provided two different types of services: consultation in regards to assisting our small business in dipping our toes into entrepreneurship and investment, as well as spearheading software design. They designed the demo version of our product, and we hope to utilize their services to engineer the software too. I’m not a technology person so I’m not familiar with the technology behind it. The demo itself is a clickable prototype where you can play around with fictitious data.

I work directly with one person, but he introduced me to another of their colleagues.

I found them online about two years ago but I forget the specific site. I’d posted that I was looking for a software developer and we started a conversation.

I’ve spent around $10,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since October 2018. Our current phase is investor outreach, so he isn’t doing any development right now.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Everyone has been extremely impressed with all its features. They were willing to do more for the demo, but I thought we had enough for me to get my point across to potential investors.

How did SYNERGY Consulting perform from a project management standpoint?

We’re under contract right now. They’re not an official team member, but they reach out every other week or weekly. Our point of contact is very consistent.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Even though we work contract to contract, they were committed outside of that. He’s constantly checking in and providing us with a lot of resources for networking. I’ve felt very encouraged by him; he tries to keep my enthusiasm up. His consultations are very motivational for me.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It kind of sounds like a back-handed compliment, but sometimes they can check in a bit too much. They’re trying to keep our enthusiasm up but it might be too much. Some people may need some space or prefer to reach out to them when they need them.

They’ll be proactive and continually check-in, but go with the flow and be open to the networking resources they have.

We needed to find the right technology partner so help us develop mobile applications.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Their teammates were working together with our in-house team to develop four mobile applications for our company. They’ve created two iOS apps and two Android apps. The apps are used for global travelers to reset their body clocks while dealing with jetlag. This is a proprietary science and technology that my internal team developed, and we wanted to deliver it to travelers around the world.

I work with two team members on the management side of their organization. They delegate work to a development team.

I met Andy (COO) as a tech accelerator in Boston while in the process of searching for a development partner. After checking out their past work and vetting their technical skills, I determined that they had the capability and right attitude to take on this project.

We spent between $250,000–$500,000 on their work so far.

We started collaborating in July 2016 and are still working with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Through our user feedback, we can determine that they’ve done a very good job for us. The platforms have been stable and operational. They’ve adapted to the changing operating systems to keep the product current over time.

We have weekly meetings, assigning goals and budgets on a quarterly basis. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their mentality and attitude were extraordinary. They understand how to work with the requirements of both developing businesses and established companies. They’ve been terrific partners.

There’s always room for improvement. We’re creating something that’s never been done before, so we’ve all learned a lot in this process.

Spend time with them upfront, so they understand what you’re trying to achieve for your users. Additionally, understand that there are many stages of development and that technology is always changing. Position yourself for change by collecting feedback from users.

I am the Cofounder and CFO of Greater Horizon Healthcare. We are a Medicare/Medicaid certified home healthcare agency, dedicated to provide quality and reliable services that meet the patient specific health care needs. For what projects/services did your company hire SYNERGY Consulting?

We hired Synergy to build a new internal booking app for our clients and hospitals that we partner with. We also needed a new website as well that has a built in dashboard that we can update at any time with new images and content.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals for this project was to design a full product that our hospitals can use. This included an IOS app, and an Android App. After that we also needed a new website that was consistent with the new modern feel of our mobile booking apps.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We selected this vendor after finding them on Google. Me and my business partner then had a zoom call with their team. After that we checked about 3 of their references and that's when we knew we definitely wanted to work with this team.

Describe the project in detail.

We had several meetings with their team via zoom and they showed us a full presentation on several different options of what the layout and design would look like. After we chose the best one, we they then started to build both mobile apps at the same time During this process we would get progress reports and beta builds of the apps so we can play around with it. It was a superb process that they uses. We felt engaged throughout the entire time.

What was the team composition?

We worked with the CTO of Synergy during the entire time one on one. He then would introduce us to a few of the app testers just so we can collaborate with them when it came to final testing. But all in all, we worked closely with the CTO which was awesome because he served as a great project manager for us.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The best outcome from our work with this team was that the apps came out so much better that we actually envisioned them. Our clients were very impressed with the user experience that they instantly told us how much time it now saved them when it came to booking our medical services.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was great. We really felt as if our views were important and their communication was very fast. There was never a time when we felt like they were in a different state.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We really liked how fast they worked. I had prior experience with another tech team in the past and the Synergy team really showed us how a professional team should interact with their client. Still today we still call Synergy for advice and we have referred several clients to them since earlier this year.

I think they did a great job. I cant find anything right now and we are still using the products they built for us.

Please describe your company and your position there.

CMeNow is a local hospital locator app that connects healthcare providers to patients in need of urgent care.

By streamlining the discovery and intake process of urgent care, the founding Doctor of our impactful startup has a mission to disrupt the way patients locate hospitals for non-emergency unexpected and stressful occasions, and can make a decision on what hospital to attend based on their current wait times along with their ratings.

I am the operations coordinator and in charge of managing all vendor relationships and sourcing to get the right tech partners so we can get this startup off the ground.

For what projects/services did your company hire SYNERGY Consulting?

We got in touch with SYNERGY due to our need of designing and building Android and iOS apps for us. We also needed a tech team that had their own UX and UI designers as we did not have those capabilities in house as well.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals were to design and build the Android, iOS and tablet apps that were focused on speed and simplicity for both service provider and the end users. The service providers were the health care practitioners so it had to mirror the look and feel of many of the medical platforms they were already using internally.

The end users are all the customers that are using the app to book an urgent care visit. The end user app had to be very simple to navigate as time is of the essence during a medical emergency.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We were informed about SYNERGy by one of our partners who they worked with previously for a website that they built for them. And I am really glad that we got to them as our experience has been great. It has been more than a year since we launched and we still reach out to them for advice as we plan to rebrand the platform after our CEO closed a new round of funding from several angel investors.

Describe the project in detail.

The SYNERGY team designed & built Android, iOS and tablet apps focused on speed and simplicity for both service provider and end user. They also built an additional platform that dynamically allows hospitals to notify users of average wait times. Lastly SYNERGY designed a proprietary analytics dashboard that tracks demographic trends and feedback from patients.

They built Super Admin capabilities such as custom reporting, emergency vs non-emergency surveys, and created a subscription enabled landing page on the web. This was not a small task but their team completed it on time and also under budget for us.

What was the team composition?

They had a team of seven individuals being led by a manager who was a very experienced CTO. That person was designated to perform the needful communication with our CEO on a weekly basis to give progress of the projects so we can provide feedback whenever necessary.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our founding physician and CEO was able to begin his pilot program with several local urgent care facilities during that summer to prove the concept before fully launching in the Fall. It turned out to be a great success and we are now moving forward with the company.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

All our demands were perfectly met and therefore the project was an overall success. We had an internal document that they provided to us where we were able to give our feedback throughout the entire process. It was very collaborative and our input felt valued.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They strictly followed all practices of project management and delivered timely results. Before hiring this team we were very concerned with the timing as we had very strict deadlines established by our CEO and the rest of the executive team.

None that I can think of. We had a good time working with this team. We have worked with several tech teams for other projects and I must say that these guys were the best.

To design and build a full website to tell congruently tell their story and also market their services. We wanted to create images, content videos, and product placement opportunities for our premium brand.

How did you select this vendor?

We went through a tedious process in which we searched the vendors using Google, shortlisted them, contacted them and later decided to go with SYNERGY Consulting due to the nature of services provided by them as well the reviews and ratings.

Synergy Consulting assisted in getting us a fully functional website that we are currently running. The main benefit of this website is its mobile friendly nature that makes it very easy to access on the go. We have multiple customers who are using their mobile phones to access the website and thus it is helping us in getting a lot of traffic.

The team composed of four persons. One of them was the manager and the remaining three while working under his guidelines provided us the website according to our requirements.

As a result, now Boston Platinum has been featured on numerous media outlets and has grown to open their 2nd location in one of the most affluent per capita suburbs in MA.

The project management was extremely professional. Personally I found the team highly competent as it was able to fulfill our needs in the stipulated timeframe.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Strict adherence to guidelines and time duration made the company really impressive. I liked how they delivered what they promised and that too in our desired format.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I personally liked the work way too much. Therefore, I don't believe there is any room for improvement in any area.

NeedAnything is an intuitive mobile app that sends out notifications when a user is nearby a store of their choosing. The app asks whether a user wants to send an alert and message to their groups to see if they need anything.

By notifying users based on their location sharing if they are nearby a store, this app allows for better communication and an easy fix for consumers to remember others while running errands. I am the current Technical Manager at NeedAnything.

We were looking for a unique mobile App that would assist retailers in incentivizing their customers.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to make an App that could send automatic notifications to the created list of contacts in case the person, having the mobile on which the App was installed, was visiting a retail store.

We've been working with SYNERGY CONSULTING for quite some time now and thus have tried and tested their expertise and skill set. Thus, we didn't need to go on a hunt for any other company for our purpose.

To create an easy, user friendly app that can help users remember to get others groceries or supplies. The purpose was to design modern tech capabilities such as location based GPS tracking and using SMS for those who don’t have the app for a more streamlined and friction-less user experience. We also wanted to integrate a premier and secure payments platform within the app to optimize engagement

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

SYNERGY designed and monitored a well structured beta program after the launch to identify and eliminate bugs. The NeedAnything team was able to convert a very complex and layered concept into a functional & clean app, but the genius of the app is in its simplicity and ease of use.

The response to our feedback was quick and effective.

They always work from scratch and are able to come up with the best possible solutions for the problems at hand. This makes them stand out from the rest.
