Digital Marketing & Web Dev for CPA & Business Advisory Firm
“We always feel confident about SyncShow’s capabilities.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the marketing director at Meaden & Moore, a CPA and business advisory firm. We’re headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, but we have about 20 offices throughout the US and the UK. We also have four affiliate offices in Canada.
In Ohio, we specialize in traditional accounting, tax, business valuation, and ERP systems. We help companies with tax compliance, estate planning, and other work. Outside Ohio, we specialize in investigative and forensic accounting; we help insurance companies assess damages. When there’s a disaster, we come in and figure things out.
What challenge were you trying to address with SyncShow B2B Revenue Marketing?
We hired SyncShow for their digital marketing, SEO, PPC, and web development services. When they first proposed their services, our website was static and its content was stale. We also didn’t have much digital presence at that time. However, our team wanted people to know about Meaden & Moore while developing our brand online and showcasing our expertise. As a result, we engaged SyncShow.
What was the scope of their involvement?
SyncShow helped us develop a content strategy and improve our brand awareness. We conducted meetings and interviews with SyncShow for them to know about us. They then developed customer personas of our client base, determining their needs and buying habits. For example, we could target a CFO of a manufacturing company in northeast Ohio with $50 million–$100 million in revenue. The team would develop content for that persona and give us suggestions on how to get in front of that customer and engage them.
Moreover, SyncShow worked on our website by developing a blog page and its content. After that page was developed, we started to optimize it for SEO and PPC. They also developed another website for us. We initially used Drupal to develop the sites, but we’ve since been using HubSpot as our CRM system.
At present, we’re still working with SyncShow. Our relationship has changed over the years. They continue to provide recommendations for our website and digital presence. Our team takes their ideas and turns them into something that’s more in line with Meaden & Moore. They also currently serve as an extension of our firm by doing maintenance. We meet with their resources once a quarter to ensure we’re keeping everything up to date. We're currently fixing some broken links on the website.
What is the team composition?
We work with 10–15 people from their team. The account manager is our main point of contact.
How did you come to work with SyncShow B2B Revenue Marketing?
SyncShow was a referral of one of our clients.
How much have you invested with them?
In total, we’ve spent around $1 million–$2.5 million for their services. We’ve invested around $1 million in their digital marketing services. For the two websites they’ve built, we’ve spent between $100,000–$200,000 each.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in February 2013, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
On average, around 20,000 people visit our website per month. We’ve also acquired 10–20 ongoing clients through our marketing efforts. Our website page views have also increased by 75%.
Anecdotally, SyncShow is always up to date with trends. They know what’s happening. Even as a professional services firm, we tend to be a bit conservative. However, if we have any questions or ideas, they suggest things we should try. In other words, they help us be more innovative and stand out from our competition.
How did SyncShow B2B Revenue Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management is great. The team is highly responsive. They help us stay on budget; their resources keep everything on track and come up with new ideas. On top of that, they always deliver on time, so I’m truly impressed. To communicate, we use a lot of emails. We also have bi-monthly calls.
What did you find most impressive about them?
SyncShow does a good job of organizing things for us and communicating with our team. We tell them our needs, and they come back to us with a couple of solutions. Their team starts work in a timely manner, and we get results.
Moreover, they do a fantastic job of utilizing their resources. They’re not a big agency, but they have expertise in everything. We never feel the need to engage a bigger firm — we always feel confident about SyncShow’s capabilities.
Are there any areas they could improve?
People are coming and going, though that’s not always something we can control. Over the last couple of years, we’ve had more account managers that we liked. Our first account manager has been awesome, but he’s been promoted. SyncShow has since brought in another person, and I’m excited about that. It would be nice if we could stay with the new manager for the next couple of years.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be upfront about your needs and wants, and set reasonable expectations. Be straightforward and lay everything out to the SyncShow team. They can help you with everything. Even if the task isn’t in their wheelhouse, they’ll give you suggestions that you can use.

Digital Marketing for Wealth Management Firm
"They have an impressive understanding of the importance of emotional intelligence behind our marketing messages."

The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the director of marketing and business dev for a wealth management firm.
For what projects/services did your company hire SyncShow B2B Revenue Marketing, and what were your goals?
Typically the wealth management industry is really behind in embracing technology for any of it's business operations, from internal communications, to client service, and especially with marketing to new prospects. We brought on Syncshow to help us enhance our current marketing and BD strategy to open new doors and gain new business from sources that we otherwise would not have had access to.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We decided to work with Syncshow because they took the time to really understand who we are, but also most importantly who are current clients and ideal clients are. They understood the importance of the emotional intelligence factor that goes into the messaging and branding to certain niche markets of ours.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.
They did an overhaul of our website, helped us build out a brand new "site" within our website for a specific niche market that we specialize in. they also learned our current marketing and BD game plan for that same specific niche market and helped us come up with a complimentary digital marketing game plan to enhance our "boots on the ground" strategy we were already implementing. The goal was to increase site interaction and gain new contacts that we otherwise wouldn't have known about through form submissions on the site, funneled there through content consumption they helped us create.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We have a main "account service rep" but also communicate with several other team members, depending on what specific projects or conversations we're having or working on.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We've gained new clients strictly from our digital marketing game plan and have more easily closed clients from our boots ont he ground strategy with the complimentary digital content.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Extremely
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They have an impressive understanding of the importance of emotional intelligence behind our marketing messages. We've successfully put these out to our niche markets and ideal clients.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No
The company’s website garners around 20,000 visitors per month. They’ve also acquired 10–20 regular customers through their marketing efforts. SyncShow B2B Revenue Marketing helps the firm be innovative and updated about trends. They’re highly organized and communicative, and they deliver on time.
