Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Excellent job done. Iterated patiently through the development of brand identity. Loved the brainstorming process and the rapid iterations. I was very particular about how I wanted to communicate the core platform provision and the team worked with me very closely translating what I had in mind into real artefacts.

The content development process was smooth. The team created the templates and content structure and then worked with me for my inputs rapidly translating them into the final copy. The quality of visual content design for social media communication was excellent

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very smooth. Loved the rapid iterations

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Paison to deliver value, willingness to iterate till the job is done, good quality execution and strong research focus

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Speed of execution could be tad better though I appreciate the fact that they get deep down into research.

I'm the co-founder of a startup called Scuboid. We’re a cross-border, e-commerce company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Sync Labs?

We hired Sync Labs to develop our website and design our logo.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Sync Labs has helped us develop our website from scratch. To start off the project, we held a few discovery sessions to define the scope of work in detail. We also had no idea how I wanted the website to look, so it was thoughtful of them to become a part of the entire process — a lot of inputs actually came from them. 

They’ve helped build features and create content to make the website user-friendly and customizable. Since it's a cross-border, e-commerce website, we wanted to have multiple languages, and they’ve helped us build that as well. Furthermore, they’ve suggested the template, helped sort photographs that would go in with the content, and integrated an engaging contact form on the site to allow customers to easily contact us. The form is linked to my email, which is where we respond to their inquiries.

For the logo, we’ve given them a brief about what the company is all about, and they’ve come up with about 60 options that we can use for our organization; we’ve chosen the one we thought was closest to e-commerce.

What is the team composition?

We mainly work with two people — specifically, the co-founders of Sync Labs.

How did you come to work with Sync Labs?

We found out about them through a referral. After our first meeting with them, they seemed excited about the project and had the necessary expertise we needed to build our website. Furthermore, they were affordable and open to giving us several options. We also saw their previous projects, and they seemed very capable of delivering high-quality work.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $8,500.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership began in March 2021, and it’s still ongoing as they continue to provide services on a retainer basis.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’ve delivered a good quality website, which exceeded our expectations. We’ve gotten great feedback on the website’s performance and its UI/UX design. Also, we’ve seen an increase in site traffic since a lot of people searching for us. 

How did Sync Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been amazing in terms of managing our project — they deliver on time and are always available and willing to accommodate our requests. As for communication, we use Slack, WhatsApp, and email to interact.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What’s been most impressive about them is their willingness to deliver beyond expectations; they’re always ready to help, and they work flexibly to meet our requirements. Also, they’ve stayed within our budget without charging any extra fees despite working overtime.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No; they’ve done an excellent job.

Any advice for potential customers?

Make them understand the product and the thought process of your project. Also, treat them as stakeholders in the journey to allow them to have a complete idea of the story.

The project consisted of 2 stages - designing the full app and then coordinating with our product and development team to get the final product out

We worked with Shreyas and Sanjeev, both of them are founders and super talented.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

This was a stellar experience. Both Shreyas and Sanjeev are committed to their work, improvised on our ideas and gave us timely delivery of the screens.

We had a really good rapport and loved working with Sync Labs. They owned the project end to end.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The ownership that they take. We never felt working with an outsider. They became part of our team.
