these devices to create an application which provides users with a graphical interface to view their utility expenses and consumption.   We also implemented a payment gateway to allow users to pay all of their bills with a simple click via whatever payment mode they want to use, allowing the community to run smoothly. Eenadu approached Switch to build a mobile app for it news portal. Due to use of legacy backend content management, the process of content gathering & consistent updates was very complicated.

WHAT DID WE DO?

However with more than 200 synchronised & scheduled daily operations, we were able to successfully develop the mobile app
& provided a back end to manage the content exclusively for the mobile application & send push notifications to the user. With in 2 months, more than 80,000 people have downloaded this app.   LEGACY ROOTED Creating a platform that utilises a legacy system is complicated. Primarily because for a news based application the data is rapidly changing. This dynamic stream of data needed to be translated over to the application simultaneously with the website, this required us to build asynchronized operations through cron jobs.   RE-VISION Eenadu is one of the most respected & oldest news outlets in Southern India. The created brand image & expectancy needed to be translated in the look & feel of the application in it's behavior for it's UX and it's UI. But at the same time maintain the aptitude of the modern day news application. So we relied on a simple white UI & intuitive UX, to narrate the design via font sizes & images.

Smarter Traffic Management

Imagine how does a small body such as the traffic police control the extensive amount of population breaking rules & regulations on an almost hourly basis.

PUBLIC APPEAL   Designing for the crowd appeal, the design of the application has to be visually appealing yet be swift enough to publish a report of the violation in less than a minute, that
includes the time for taking pictures or videos if required. So we needed to build a streamlined and solid navigation in the UX flow. The visual appeal of the application is not only for the aesthetic but act as an intuitive direction for it's usage.   DATA VALIDATION   NHAI needed a refined back end system for large scale traffic crime validation to allow swift justice to be executed by the authorities. To achieve this we had to design a specific UX for the back end so that it initiated a multi-select validation based on photos & repeat offenders submitted via multiple users.

WHAT DID WE DO?

BBuzz required a UI design that focused on attractive images and a

smart curation system that allowed offers to continually change via a robust backend system based on various businesses uploading their own offers onto the platform via a business owner based CMS. BBuzz is divided into primary categories based on type of businesses and offers are then classified after business owners are clubbed into one of those categories. There is also a specific trending deals section that curates the hottest deals based on how many users are redeeming the deal. The primary reason of using BBuzz is that it offers special deals due to it's platform advantage and can only be redeemed only on this application, allowing users to get a better deal and business owners to get more customers via tying up with BBuzz.

Burlington Buzz is an Application dedicated to provide spectacular deals to everyone in Burlington from local business owners. It aimed to provide a great avenue for local businesses to promote themselves through the platform to the users of the application & also allow them the opportunity to thrive in the competitive market.

The main problems that are faced in an apartment is paying utility bills, asking for services such as repair or inviting guests. Unifying all of this under one application with added functionalities we were able to make living in an apartment a comfortable experience, allowing you to pay your bills online and get statements, a ticket management system for services and repairs, a guest list system, a staff management system, a vehicle management system, a community section & a facilities booking system. This allowed legend connect app to be implemented in other legend projects. Not only this but you can also manage multiple apartments from one single application.

You can pay online instantly via a payment gateway offering multiple types of payment systems, giving you freedom to pay from anywhere and at anytime. Radysh is a local home services provider that tied up with smaller scale servicemen and onboarded them into one single offline provider, that provide home services based on your geo-location.

WHAT DID WE DO?
Radysh had already an offline system however they needed a versatile online system that could handle their workload and incoming orders. Since they are region specific service providers, the

pricing needed to change based on demand, amount of servicemen in the area and timings. 

This app also required live activity tracking & a live support system that could switch between a human and AI bot that could classify incoming queries and resolve simple queries on it's own. Over this, the live socket support and payment system required to be completely encrypted to ensure users of a safe & secure environment. The App was designed to be as minimal as possible allowing users to quickly order their required service and monitor it's activities only from the notification settings. 

SMART PAYMENT CALCULATION

Radysh was built with a smart payment calculating algorithm that balances region, time, demand & supply as prime factors in dictating the pricing of a service. Radysh has a massive load of incoming orders and the pricing needed to be regulated so that servicemen accepting customer orders don't wait for a price surge to allow for order traffic.

Bablaboo had this brilliant idea where a user & their friends’ network have a pool of contacts that they share on a cloud based platform for social or business purpose.

WHAT DID WE DO?

Your pool of contacts could be tagged via a catergory such as a regular carpenter. For example you might require a business like “plumber”, but then you have to personally ask from friends or look someone up,

but on bablaboo you could just do a simple search in your shared network to find “plumbers”.

Now this also allowed Switch to magnify on the idea itself & come up with a rating system to make it a more efficient experience but also let the business compete by being listed on the platform by being verified and listed exclusively as business professionals on the app. We also made a comprehensive backend system to manage this complex idea.

DIGITAL ARCHITECTURE

Bablaboo depends on it's database & it's architecture heavily, so it's software skeleton had to be foolproof. This required detailed analysis & inspection of it's algorithms to reach a standard for building it's core functionality. Essentially the foundation of bablaboo being the ability to rapidly manage multiple users & their contact data.

Ooven approached us with a very delicate idea, that requires alot of research & thought, they wanted to create a system that allowed a lunch based delivery service to partner with various offices to provide a canteen facility by curating specific foods from nearby restaurants

WHAT DID WE DO?   App needed to the basics of a food delivery app but also provide the ability to manage daily food items or
food items pre-planned by the user over a period of time & the ability to show curated menus for the entire week This required a dynamic backend system to be created that managed zones,& in these zones restaurants & offices were managed locally. This has to be one of the most thought-provoking projects we have done at Switch   LARGE SCALE OPERATIONS   Ooven required a large scale platform to be built & required constant back & forth communications with multiple restaurants, zones & offices. We had to come up with a structure for hierarchical overflow of the backend & how the stream of data would flow. This also required calculations for server loads & database management for the constant flow of the data between customers, delivery partners, restaurant circles, zone managers & offices

WHAT DID WE DO? So similar to how Uber changed the user oriented market when it comes to on-the-go taxi services , Grey Ticket is the answer to the local goods delivery system for the on-the-go
business users looking for an efficient and simple solution that is completely hassle free. In 4 months, we have built an android app for customers and drivers and a web admin portal for the business to manage its operations.   TECHNOLOGIES UTILIZED   Grey Ticket is an app that relies heavily on real time Geo-data & for it we needed to optimize our web services. We had to come up with iterations for an algorithm to choose the most efficient logic so that the application behaved in a fast paced manner to match the heavy load of the trolley business.   MINIMALIST APPROACH The idea behind Grey Ticket's UI is to keep it simple & light. Heavily borrowing elements from material design yet minor tweaks to create it's own style. This approach helps us because users across many android devices can have access to the app. And yet, retain a neat look on higher end phones at the same time. But the role always being to fulfill it's role to provide a seamless experience.

You can now order by simply clicking the button on the home screen without entering any data if you so choose and the delivery guy will be right there at your doorstep to take your order

details verbally and take it down on his rider app.And not only did we do this, we also send the user live notifications about the cleaning process.

In addition Switch also created a neat & clean backend systems to manage their business process & the fleet boys.

APPLYING NEWER TECHNOLOGIES

Laundry is relatively an offline based business requiring a manager to run the ground operations, we had to come up with a backend system that automatically does the heavy lifting therefore eliminating the need for multiple management staff.

The primary discussion for Laundry Kart was making it easier for the customer to place an order with one click, basically not requiring for him to enter his/her location, just using current location as the pickup/drop point, which can later be edited. The mundane task of selecting category or types of clothes could be left onto the driver to fill in once he arrives. The UI needed to be simple & elegant to be the perfect balance for the user to use it only when needed & yet be welcoming if opened at anytime.

clinical advice, and also expand your referral network. Also it let’s the doctor allow their assistants help them manage part of the data if the doctor wants to grant them permission if desired. We designed and developed their mobile apps to ensure seamless experience & access to doctor’s practice and patient information from anywhere. REFINED WEBSERVICES Docaxon had webservices for their responsive website but they were funneling too much data.We had to minimise their services & refine the data funneled through built with customised filters, that allowed us to manage only necessary data onto the mobile application. MATERIAL DESIGN V1.1 Initial Material design introduced during the lollipop era was still evolving & hadn't reached the android N stage. It was a newly introduced language, but we saw it to be the potential future considering most famous android phones now rely on the simple stock android experience. So we experimented with the concepts of the base material design to introduce a stock experience
