Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of marketing at a state university.
What challenge were you trying to address with Swish?
We’re a relatively small internal team, and we needed help maximizing the funds we had available to promote all of our online programs.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They run both our search and social campaigns. The team also provides keyword recommendations, ad management, and help us maximize conversion. They’ve worked on Google, Bing, Yahoo, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and programmatic display ads too.
What is the team composition?
We work with Brian (Performance Manager), Matt (CEO), and Lisa (Senior Digital Marketing Manager).
How did you come to work with Swish?
Swish was hired before I was onboarded.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $70,000 per year.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in November 2018, and our work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’re very satisfied. They’re quick to come to the table with recommendations and understand our core metrics incredibly well. The team also hits our benchmarks constantly. Overall, they’ve helped lower our cost-per-lead, drive up conversions by continuously optimizing audience segments, channel opportunities, ad copy, and imagery for social. In terms of lead generation-based activities, they’ve helped maximize volume, while at the same time maximizing the quality of our prospects.
How did Swish perform from a project management standpoint?
We work together using Microsoft Teams and Teamwork, so we’ve got a good project management structure in place. We’ve got regularly scheduled calls together and are in a really good groove together. They’re quick to raise a red flag when certain campaign metrics are heading south. At the same time, when we’re creating efficiencies and new benchmarks, they’re very quick to adapt and identify clear paths for success.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re a small agency that’s agile, transparent, and understanding. The staff members we strategize with are the ones who are actually run the campaigns. They constantly find better recommendations and goals for us to achieve.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, they’re very quick to respond to any request. Before we finish our sentence, they know what we’re trying to achieve since they take the time to understand our goals. They’re truly not just a vendor; they’re our partner.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Spend time on the frontend to really describe your business, as well as your challenges and needs. Being transparent about what you’ve tried in the past is important as well. Ask them for their feedback, because they’re truly knowledgeable.
Swish’s work has been exceptional. The team has driven leads and optimized their client’s processes across the board with insightful recommendations. Customers can expect a thoughtful team that goes the extra mile to ensure client success.
