Branding for a new business
Our client in the wedding & events space just launched their business. We assisted in a branding campaign which consisted of a series of interviews with the client, an in depth dive into the industry as a whole, including understanding competition and their target audience. We landed on the given logo, inspired by a sunflower which holds a meaning of happiness and longevity. We wanted our design to reflect the brand and the logo. The logo was important to the client and we felt a standard navigation coudn't justfy the result the client was looking for. We created a unique static left side navigation which allowed us to keep the logo the size we wanted, and showcqse the most important information. We took to wordpress and customized the theme using Elementor.

Membership: Dance Instructional Videos
Dance: The Cutting Edge, a well established dance studio in the Miami florida area had a library of hundreds of instructional videos. Swarm was hired to develop a membership website geared towards dance studios and instructors to assist with the education of their students.

CakePHP Website Upgrade, Maintenance & Hosting
Imaginis was originally build in the late 90's on a custom CakePHP framework. In 2017 Swarm was hired to take over the website. We started with a complete upgrade of the framework, bringing it to it's latest stable version which allowed it to run on PHP7+. We sucessfully upgraded the website, run continuous maintanance and provide hosting support.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the president and CEO of ArchonOne. Our focus is to provide IT services to businesses between 40–300 people.
What challenge were you trying to address with Swarm Digital Marketing?
We needed someone to provide us with web design, digital marketing, and marketing consulting services. Our main challenge was creating a new branding image and messaging campaign to support our sales outreach.
IT is a highly competitive industry because it is not highly regulated. A lot of new companies offer and advertise their services without having a license, creating a lot of noise and making it difficult to stand out from the competition. Thus, our main goal was to stand out cleanly against that noise, so we hired Swarm.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Swarm has helped us with our branding, and they’ve created a new website for us in WordPress. We already had a website, so we showed it to them and told them what we were looking for, and they redesigned it. We also provided them with the copy necessary, and we collaboratively edited it. Currently, they host it.
Regarding our digital marketing efforts, Swarm has used Birdeye as a tool to help us collect reviews. They’ve also advised us to create Google Ads, but we don’t have the budget for that yet. However, we’ve instead focused on content marketing for SEO purposes.
What is the team composition?
Matthew (Co-Founder) has been involved in the strategy and engineering side of the project, whereas David (Co-Founder) has been involved in the sales side. We’ve also worked with 3–4 other people from Swarm, including copy editors.
How did you come to work with Swarm Digital Marketing?
I’ve known Matthew for a while. When he started his company, I asked him for advice, and he offered his company’s services. Since then, we’ve been working together.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together around May 2018, and our engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Swarm has been instrumental in supporting our marketing efforts. They’ve substantially helped us stand out from the competition, and the website they designed works really well. The purpose of our site is to communicate our services effectively, and they did a great job achieving that.
Swarm has also given us excellent data insights into where our business needs to be. They’re constantly thinking of ways to solve problems, asking questions to keep the conversation flowing, and ultimately developing a solution that meets our needs. The questions they ask oftentimes have made us think about things we didn’t even consider before.
Overall, they’ve done a 10/10 job — I couldn’t ask for more. I’m totally satisfied with their work. They haven’t exceeded my expectations because I already know the quality of their work, but they would definitely exceed someone else’s expectations.
How did Swarm Digital Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
Swarm has performed perfectly. They use Basecamp for project management, and we communicate via email and phone calls. They always pick up the phone when I call them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Technical competency, responsiveness, and business acumen are Swarm’s top three strengths. They always deliver what they think would be the best for us, and they’re always objective with the solutions they offer. Additionally, Matthew is one of the most candid people I’ve ever met; he’s very responsive, and he knows what he’s talking about.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Marketing is an ongoing effort, and it always has room for improvement. Thus, it would be great to see a better KPI performance over time.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Just do it and be aware that you can't go into marketing expecting fixed and guaranteed results. You have to rely on the competency and technical acumen of the team you will be working with. If you do that, be sure that they will ultimately help you get results.

For what projects/services did your company hire Swarm Digital Marketing?
We had contracted with another IT consultant to redo our website and increase our on-line presence. It didn't work. We hired SWARM for the same purpose and have had great success. Our website is functional and SWARM's SEO package has generated significant responses for us.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We know of SWARM's work, knew Matt, and were very comfortable with him and with his approach.

Matt worked closely with us to ensure that the website and branding reflected who we are as a business and personally. He addressed every detail of our business and developed the strategy for how we would acquire customers and present ourselves through the media. He proposed and explained how to improve our on-line presence, and this was accomplished by the subsequent implementation of the SEO package.
