I’m the residency program coordinator for internal medicine at Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Mileshko Video?

They worked on a recruitment video that would help us attract the best internal medicine physicians to our program.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The video featured interviews with 10–12 physicians so applicants could get to know our program. They included music and different clips as well. I wrote the script, but they reviewed it. They also coached each speaker and used a teleprompter, which helped my attendings and residents feel at ease.

Then they came into the hospital and set up all of their equipment. They filmed everything over two half days. Finally, they edited the video to make sure it flowed well and captured the essence of our program. In the end, we walked away with a four-minute video.

What is the team composition?

Zach (VP of Operations) was the videography team lead and was our primary contact. If I had questions, he answered them. We also worked with Michael (Project Manager) and Victor (Video Producer). They supported Zach by setting up all of the equipment, managing lighting, and filming.

How did you come to work with Mileshko Video?

They’re an approved vendor for our health system. We looked at other options, but we wanted a really high-quality product. We knew that, because they’ve worked with our system before, we would be happy with the final video.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project lasted from September–October 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our residents, attending physicians, and department leader thought the video was phenomenal. Mileshko Video was able to take our minimal background and make it look really good. They produced a great product while staying on schedule and under budget.

How did Mileshko Video perform from a project management standpoint?

Our communication was excellent. I reached out to Zach, who is very attentive, prompt, and responsive. From the start, he was very engaged. Even though we were working virtually due to the pandemic, he responded as quickly and as professionally as possible.

Michael, Victor, and Zach were fabulous. They worked very well together. It seemed like they’ve been working together for years. Their chemistry was spot-on and it made the process seamless.

They were pleasant, nice, and very polished, which made them a joy to work with.

They walked me through everything so I knew what they needed from me. That helped me get scripts to the right people at the right time.

Ultimately, they completed the project before our set deadline and were quick to make edits and give us feedback.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They really impressed me. I was blown away by their professionalism, responsiveness, and how well they worked together.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They don’t need to improve anything. They just need to keep doing exactly what they’re doing.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Trust them because they can see things that an untrained person won’t notice. They can make things work, even if you don’t think it will.

For what projects/services did your company hire Mileshko Video?

We hired Mileshko for their video services. We had a tight deadline and a complicated (creative) concept. We needed someone determined and efficient.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed a video fast!

How did you select Mileshko Video?

They were recommended to us.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

Before hiring Mileshko, we had developed a concept and a script. This script was sent to their team to determine if it was possible on such a tight deadline. They took the concept and ran with it. They shared our vision and did a great job executing.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

They provided a 3-man team to film and a graphics guy in post-production. Once a draft was created, we could submit feedback easily. Then, any edits were made and a final draft was created.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We haven't launched our video yet but those who have seen it have given extremely positive feedback!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Extremely effective and efficient. It was a breeze to work with the Mileshko team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was struck by their knowledge and expertise. Also, they made no excuses about anything being complicated or difficult. Everything seemed doable or they offered a legitimate alternative.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I really can't think of anything! They came in ahead of schedule and blew us away.
