Sand Valley came to Sunday Roast to assist with a few key target requests. Management of the current site became a little more difficult due to years of applying multiple layers of back-end code that inadvertently affected our ability to make significant design and formatting choices for new web pages.
We were also working with an early 7.0 template with limited design elements, resulting in the redundancy of page layouts. The scope of work included the following requests:

Clean up the CSS.
Fix layout consistency on multiple pages across desktop and mobile (order of content, spacing issues)
Provide more images and text design flexibility across a limited Squarespace template. (Fix 'poster image block' text size and spacing.)
Reviewed Zapier and Google integration set up for form submissions

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Sunday Roast successfully removed over 700 lines of unnecessary/conflicting CSS from the backend of our website and improved user maneuverability through the CSS. We were recommended this agency from another web designer we knew. They were within our budget and very flexible with our timelines and needs.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We first had a meeting to describe our website needs. Then they provided us examples of what types of looks we could go for and we chose the aspects of these sample sites we liked and didn't like. This was great because my whole team could make comments on these samples.

We then came up with a site map and flow as to how the users would navigate the website. My team then put together all of the photos and text content and provided it to the designer. They then gave us 2 or 3 rounds of edits on the versions they made.

We finally came to something we really liked and are happy with the site! Soon they will also train us on how we can edit the site ourself.

We worked with 3 people, a SEO person, a copywriter, but mostly the web designer.
