Sand Valley came to Sunday Roast to assist with a few key target requests. Management of the current site became a little more difficult due to years of applying multiple layers of back-end code that inadvertently affected our ability to make significant design and formatting choices for new web pages. 
We were also working with an early 7.0 template with limited design elements, resulting in the redundancy of page layouts. The scope of work included the following requests:

• Clean up the CSS. 
• Fix layout consistency on multiple pages across desktop and mobile (order of content, spacing issues) 
• Provide more images and text design flexibility across a limited Squarespace template. (Fix 'poster image block' text size and spacing.) 
• Reviewed Zapier and Google integration set up for form submissions

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Sunday Roast successfully removed over 700 lines of unnecessary/conflicting CSS from the backend of our website and improved user maneuverability through the CSS. They coded for different layout experiences across multiple landing pages between desktop and mobile -providing a friendlier user experience. 
Provided custom CSS for new type and image treatment - more heading styles and poster/image banners with copy overlay. Reviewed initial testing for Squarespace to Google Sheet integration without the help of Zapier.

The scope of work as to take my brand identity and messaging strategy and create a full visual brand package that captured my personality, built trust through design and conveyed empathy and authority. This is part of a re-brand of my business and laying the foundation to lean into my personal brand. The project included logo design and a brand package so that I can have a high level of branding moving forward.

Creation of a tangible brand package with a variety of assets and guides that can be put into action right away. It's not measurable but the descriptive feedback I've seen from others is exactly what I asked Sunday Roast to create. That has been a pleasant surprise and just amazing that it's happened that way.

The team also communicated progress with us regularly, and were actively engaging with us to ensure that we had comprehensive input and engagement in the brand and website development work. Whenever we had questions or concerns, the Sunday Roast team members were quick to respond and provide us with several options to address the concern.

Measurable outcomes included a draft website for me to view. The draft included the transfer of prior content and the development and design of a new website. The feedback I provided after the draft website was then incorporated before a final review and the launch of the website. Finally, I was trained on how to make changes to the website so that I could keep the website up to date.

During the initial consultation, they wrote down everything I requested in a new website and did a fantastic job of creating a beautiful, modern website with all the functionality I wanted. They nudged me along for content to keep the project on track, and they listened and quickly incorporated all changes we discussed. 

The launch and training were smooth. Sunday Roast did a fantastic job of listening to my feedback and responding to all the changes I requested. I am really happy with the new website, and I'm grateful to Sunday Roast for their excellent work on this project!

The handover and transition of the website were done really methodically. The training session and review of the website really helped our team to understand the functions of the website and how to make changes, add blog posts and so forth The team have the capacity for SEO packages as well which could prove useful in developing online trust/expertise and helping your website rank better on search engines

- Better management of calendar. During a few scheduled appointments the calendly invites were either missed or glitches resulted in rescheduled appointments

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were recommended this agency from another web designer we knew. They were within our budget and very flexible with our timelines and needs.

We first had a meeting to describe our website needs. Then they provided us examples of what types of looks we could go for and we chose the aspects of these sample sites we liked and didn't like. This was great because my whole team could make comments on these samples.

We then came up with a site map and flow as to how the users would navigate the website. My team then put together all of the photos and text content and provided it to the designer. They then gave us 2 or 3 rounds of edits on the versions they made.

We finally came to something we really liked and are happy with the site! Soon they will also train us on how we can edit the site ourself.

We worked with 3 people, a SEO person, a copywriter, but mostly the web designer.

We were in the midst of a website development project for a new, time sensitive product launch and ran into complications with our developer that prompted us to sever that relationship. Needless to say, we were left with no website, a lot of money wasted, and needing someone to take over the project and help us implement our vision, and fast.

Sunday Roast was recommended by our Art Director, who had worked with them in the past. Despite not having expertise in the wine system backend we were using, they exhibited the utmost of professionalism, and gave us confidence they could figure it out, and produce an outcome in line with our vision.

We are extremely happy with the speed and efficiency at which Lee worked and impressed with the quality of work. Our prior designer had basically said our design mockup was not possible. Lee proved otherwise, and without using a custom Wordpress site.

I am a plastic surgeon practicing in Dallas, TX. I have a very narrow focus of practice that I highlight with my website to attract patients with these specific needs.

I was given options through the 99 designs partnership through square space partner for experts with the skill set to achieve my goals. I selected several website designers. Of those that I corresponded with, Sunday Roast demonstrated the best quality in their body of work. They were also very responsive with e-mail and video communication and they were priced well for the high quality of product provided.

Sunday Roast set up a combined meeting for website design update and SEO optimization with a colleague to streamline the process to achieve my goals. Based upon my stated goals design elements were set up in mood boards to determine the direction I wanted to pursue in terms of style and flow through. SEO optimization options were also presented. We then finalized action items for both site design and SEO.

My website design is exactly what I was looking for in terms of style and ease with navigation. The services that I wanted highlighted have risen significantly in terms of SEO also.
