MVP Mobile App Dev for Travel Startup
"I don’t regret anything because at least it started me off."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of a travel startup. I work in the transport industry, and I came up with an idea for an app that could be used globally to travel.
What challenge were you trying to address with Suite Twenty Four Inc.?
I had the idea of an Android and iOS travel app to start developing. Users could create the journey they want, and if anybody can help them — including travel agents — then they could then suggest how to make that journey within the UK, Europe, or abroad. They would give a timeline and contribute to the trip.
What was the scope of their involvement?
When I started, I knew nothing at all. Adam (President) gave me an idea of what to do, but I didn’t understand it. I had three months to get the app together. Suite Twenty Four was going to create a functioning prototype, but they didn’t do anything; I did it all myself.
What is the team composition?
I only worked with Adam. There was another person, but I didn’t talk to them.
How did you come to work with Suite Twenty Four Inc.?
I found them on Google. I saw an ad that said they were willing to help people to develop ideas for apps. There was a discount, so I decided to work with them. They were an incubator. I didn’t know what that was at that time, but I realized it later on. I think they played on my lack of knowledge.
How much have you invested in them?
I spent $1,500.
What is the status of this engagement?
I started working with them in November 2018. They didn’t do anything, so I finished working with them in May 2019.
Describe the impact this engagement has had on your business.
I was testing an idea, so I wanted to do more than just talk about it. I wanted to do something with it. After I left them, I did a course. I realized it was pretty easy for me to do, so I did the wireframing myself and went to another company. I was finally able to explain what I wanted.
How was project management handled?
We mostly used Skype, but they weren’t communicating; they just told me what I had to do. I also do coaching myself, and I know what it takes. Telling me what to do wasn’t a good way of coming across. Before I started the process, I knew nothing about this industry. I explained myself to them so they’d know what they were dealing with. As long as I put the money in, that was it.
Is there anything that the vendor did well or that you would consider a strength?
I don’t regret anything because at least it started me off. From there, I saw what they were trying to do, which pointed me in the direction I needed. Those are the only positive aspects.
In what specific areas can they improve?
Adam needs to spend more time to understand that his clients won’t know anything about how to create something; they just have an idea. He also needs to coach someone along instead of treating everyone the same. He could help with research and read more to develop the concept. After that, you can see if you want to commit further.
Additionally, they didn’t have much of a team; they were just starting out.
What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours?
Just come and talk to me; I’ll give you some hints.

President
For what projects/services did your company hire Suite Twenty Four Inc., and what were your goals?
App Development- No progress and terrible communication.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Pricing seemed best but it was a scam. Did not meet any goals or timelines.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Adam A. is a smooth talker/con artist. He hooks you in with a promise of this amazing app for a good price and doesn't deliver. After paying a $2k deposit, I quickly realized he was not going to deliver. He kept saying the project update was coming...someone was working on it. It never materialized. Ever. I then reversed charges through my bank. He brings up a contract that he made me sign before moving on to the next step of the process. He was scamming the entire time.
To date, I have paid out $2300 with no product to show. He sends a hodge-podge video with nothing on it as his project. Save yourself the hassle! He is a scammer. He goes on nice vacations on other people's money. Look at his social media and you'll figure it out. The apps he made are for his family! Do not waste your time! Report him!
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Who knows. I dont think he even has a team. The more I worked with him the more I realized jt was a joke. Scammer.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
NO OUTCOME....They did not deliver the product. He takes money and doesn't deliver anything. Just lies and stories.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Poor. Terrible.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Do not waste time with this guy. You will regret it.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Yes...do the work you say you will do. Here is my honest review. Go to BBB and look at all the complaints. Do not waste money. You will be disappointed.
The vendor responded on June 24, 2021.
The client contracted our company on August 11th, 2020 to enroll in our Mobile App Incubator Program. Upon further discussion, the client was unable to afford our service fee of $2997. In order to assist the client, we came to terms with an installment plan to help make it affordable for them. The client made one payment of $997. After a considerable amount of time was spent on the designs of the app we received a chargeback on September 30th, 2020. We did not challenge the chargeback and refunded the client her payment of $997. However, the client insists that we owe her a completed prototype.
To protect our completed work we recorded a short video showing the designs completed pending revisions. For clarification - no this was not the prototype as the client states. This was ONLY a video showing the work completed to date. We were not going to send design files to the client that were not paid for. The client charged us back before any designs were approved to continue to build the prototype. The client fell on hard times and filed for Bankruptcy in her state of Hawaii on December 30th, 2020. The client unethically charged us back for the completed work in desperation.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CMO of a personal training app that helps trainers grow and organize their businesses.
What challenge were you trying to address with Suite Twenty Four Inc.?
We needed help with app development.
What was the scope of their involvement?
First, we brainstormed ideas and created blueprints for our iOS/Android app. From there, their development team built it out. Next, they came up with a rough draft. They continue to work on updates.
Using the app, clients and trainers can talk with each other using text, photos, videos, and audio files. There’s also a workout library in the app. Trainers can also schedule meal and workout plans. Clients can pay for workouts directly to their trainers through the app as well.
What is the team composition?
Adam (President) is my main point of contact.
How did you come to work with Suite Twenty Four Inc.?
We found their website via Google. From there, they contacted us.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $95,000–$100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in September 2018, and our work is ongoing with updates.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The app functions well and we have a good number of users. Suite Twenty Four has great UX/UI designers that created the interface. Everyone we talked to enjoyed it.
How did Suite Twenty Four Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
They have fast communication and their turnaround time is quicker than I expected. Everything is very organized through G Suite. We have complete transparency with everything going on at all times.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They do great work and the app they built speaks for itself. They have good communication and organization.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there's nothing I can think of.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to jump in. The faster you start a project, the faster Suite Twenty Four can help you build it and launch it into the app store.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO of an automotive restoration company. We service dealerships as well as retail customers.
For what projects/services did your company hire Suite Twenty Four Inc.?
We reached out to Adam of Suite Twenty Four to help us develop an app, initially we were sold his incubator program for approximately $3000, which seemed like a good deal to get some coaching, develop an investor pitch deck, build a prototype and pitch to the angel investors that Adam claimed that he had access to.
We further contracted Adam to develop a web app of the idea that we had in mind, paying him up front approximately $3250.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goals were to build a functional web app that could show case our particular goal and market.
How did you select Suite Twenty Four Inc.?
We reached out to several companies. Suite Twenty Four got back to us first, gave us a list of good reviews and satisfied customers. At that point, we had no reason to doubt them.
Describe the project in detail.
The details of the project are confidential, however, it was a unique niche market that we have a lot of experience and on going successful business in. The major things that we contracted Suite Twenty Four was the developing a demo app and gaining access to investors and the development of a web app.
What was the team composition?
Myself, a business partner, and Adam Arellano for initial development. We have since grown our team and Adam has gone MIA.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
No. While we have made the most of a bad situation and learned a lot from our experience with Suite Twenty Four, Adam has completely violated the terms of the agreement and not delivered upon what he was contracted for.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Initially, it seemed positive and communicative, however, as time went on, communication became less and less, Adam continually was late, making almost daily excuses, delay after delay and finally completely stopped responding at all, though he regularly posts on his various public and company social media.
The last contract that we signed with them went completely undelivered on. No evidence at all has been presented that they did anything at all what they claimed they would do. We paid them over $3200 in November of 2019 to develop a web app that they claimed would be finished in a few weeks and have as of February 2021 have yet to see anything at all regarding that project and no explanation besides "pandemic" as to what has happened to it.
We have requested dozens of times to know what their intentions are, whether they will deliver something or refund us our money, without any word back at all.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The impressive thing about them is the initial talk and posturing. There is very little substance to their group, and while Adam claims to have a team, it seems that it is a one man show.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Not really, there would have to be something "there" for him to improve on.
The vendor responded on February 16, 2021.
Our team consists of 26 team members. Mr. Vega happened to speak with Adam to initiate his project but was assigned a project manager, designer, and project engineer. Next, with the service Mr. Vega enrolled in we do not promise to provide any investors. The service the client purchased was to assist him to prepare his proof of concept to pitch to his own investors. At no time did we ever make the commitment to give him investors for his project with the Incubator he enrolled in. The client was provided all the resources necessary to find a potential investor for their project. Now nearly two years later the client feels inclined to make us responsible for their lack of investor interest in their project.
Mr. Vega received project in full which included: design, wireframe, prototype, website, marketing strategy, revenue model, and pitch deck. The client enrolled in our program on December 7th, 2018 and delivered their completed project on April 2nd, 2019.
From December 7th, 2018 to April 2nd, 2019 we exchanged 163 emails with the client. These emails included multiple revision requests, project stage approvals, and consulting.
We aim to help our clients to launch their apps. However, clients must accept the inherent risk associated with any new venture. It comes down to taking personal responsibility.

Please describe your company and your position there.
My company outsources information and technology projects, i.e. mobile app, website development, and customized software projects. I am the Chief Executive Officer of Apple Slyces LLC and Co-founder.
For what projects/services did your company hire Suite Twenty Four Inc.?
I hired Suite Twenty Four to develop a mobile application prototype under their incubator program.
What were your goals for this project?
I wanted a prototype developed for my mobile application idea, so that I could garner an initial following via downloads, and so that my company may have a basis in which to develop a full-scale mobile application for both the iOS and Android platforms. In the near future I was hoping to create a product that would compete greatly against other similar mobile applications.
How did you select Suite Twenty Four Inc.?
I had heard of Suite Twenty Four years ago, however I chose another company to partner with on up to six mobile application concepts, but after two years and little progress, I had the mobile application concepts released back to me and decided to give Adam and his team the opportunity to showcase their talent.
Describe the project in detail.
I was told that developers would begin work immediately on my mobile application prototype. However, after initial communications the company has abandoned any efforts to reply to any means of communication. Thus, they have been deducting payments from my bank account, but refuse to communicate.
What was the team composition?
Initially I was assigned a project manager who would keep me informed of my project's status. However, after a couple of replies, communication has stopped, as Suite Twenty Four will not reply.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Suite Twenty Four has taken 10 of 12 payment, but has completely stopped communicating with me. I have held my side of the agreement so far, but Suite Twenty Four has breached the contract. I have nothing to show for my money, and am looking into obtaining an attorney.
Adam and Carlos were initially following up with me, yet I have not received any responses to my emails or calls since September, and I have called and/or emailed each day. I feel like I have been robbed, as our agreement explicitly stated that each party remain in contact.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Initially the project manager and/or Adam replied to communications within fair time, but after the midway point of payments, I have been shut out of any communications, i.e. there has been no effort from them in communicating with me by any form.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They talked a good talk. Made me feel like they had m best intentions at heart. However, now I am very disappointed.
Are there any areas for improvement?
They can improve by replying to all of their customers. By actually following through with their obligations. It feels like a form of robbery or theft when a company takes your hard earned money and gives you nothing in return. Every customer matters. I have been robbed of not just my monies, but moreover for the dreams I had for my idea.
The vendor responded on February 3, 2021.
We accepted the client into the program but requested they pay our standard enrollment fee to use our services. The client was unable to afford our enrollment so we offered to place the client on a 12-month installment plan as a courtesy. The client was made aware that services would not begin until our services were paid in full. The client still has two payments past due. It is our policy not to begin work until all payments have been received.

I am the founder of ECUTZ. ECUTZ provides on-demand hair services to customers anywhere.
For what projects/services did your company hire Suite Twenty Four, LLC?
I hired Suite Twenty Four to develop and market my app.
What were your goals for this project?
I wanted to start an app from scratch with only an idea. The goals wee to develop the app, market the app, and put the app in production.
How did you select this vendor?
I searched online and contacted many incubators before deciding to go with Suite Twenty Four, LLC. The main reason for going with them was because after talking to Adam, I knew right away how passionate he was to bring my idea to life.
Describe the project in detail.
After selecting Suite Twenty Four, LLC, we started to brainstorm together what the app was going to look like. Suite Twenty Four, LLC was on top go the project with ensuring I was notified every time something new with the project came to light. In addition to the back and forth emails and calls, we had a reoccurring meeting each Monday to discuss the project and next steps in detail.
What was the team composition?

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Adam and Suite Twenty Four, LLC have been tremendous with taking my app idea and bringing it to life! They already prototyped it, started marketing it, and in a few months will be launching it! I would highly reccomend Suite Twenty Four, LLC to anyone looking to bring an app idea to the world.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow was very effective! Anytime I had questions, they were very responsive with communication.
What did you find most impressive about this company?

For what projects/services did your company hire Suite Twenty Four, LLC?
We hired Suite Twenty Four to develop our application and provide coaching on how to pitch to investors
What were your goals for this project?
I wanted to make ordering food and beverage more convenient at entertaining events such as sports, festivals and nightclubs
How did you select this vendor?

Describe the project in detail.
Once I selected Suite Twenty Four, it came with a very welcoming presentation, we immediately went straight to questions on what needed to be done to turn Mosey into a reality
What was the team composition?
The team provided a project manager, an app developer and a Q&A resource to help with anything that needed to change
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Within 2 months, a prototype of Mosey was created, so whoever said progress was a slow process was not talking about them!
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
They were very easy to communicate with when helping to put the pieces of the project together, giving precise examples and inspiring me to create my own examples. Top tier coaching like Phil Jackson with Mike Jordan in the 3 peat era
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I was blown away by how quickly the prototype was developed! Face timing with one of their representatives was very important, it helped give me a chance to get to know a bit of their background and who was handling the project
Are there any areas for improvement?
There will always be trial and error throughout a course of any project, but for now, I am very satisfied with their work ethic every step of the way.

Project Manager- CGC Construction
For what projects/services did your company hire Suite Twenty Four, LLC?
The development of the prototype as well as their expertise on creating and marketing an effective and demonstrable app that people can use.
What were your goals for this project?
For a prototype to be created so we can present something tangible to investors. Suite 24 did an excellent job on bringing our ideas to life.
How did you select this vendor?
Through extensive online research and careful decision making . There was a lot of communication before this vendor was selected and they did an excellent job of answering questions and outlining a reasonable timeline for this project to be complete. They offer a great a package at an affordable rate.
Describe the project in detail.
Rough drawings and explanations of the functionality of the proposed app were provided to the vendor and from therein they created blueprints, design, website and a prototype. They also put together a marketing plan as well as a slideshow presentation to be pitched to investors. They also help you rehearse your pitch to ensure your prepared to have a high rate of success when meeting with investors.
What was the team composition?
My contact has mainly been with the president, Mr. Arellano. He is easy to schedule with and takes his time with you. He really shows that he cares about his clients, this is why I chose this vendor.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The vast amount of positive feedback we have received from people that have been told about the app, as well as shown the prototype. The App is still in it's early phases, however the way Suite 24 has demonstrated the app, we are very confident the app will do well.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow has structured and organized. Adam has set up this program for his clients to limit the amount of back and forth that may occur in any project. I like to think of the workflow as "batches" that go back and forth between us. This makes for easy and less stressful communication, as both of our schedules are very busy, however, Adam is very good at making himself available if a client wants to talk or has a question. This makes the whole process more comfortable.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I have watched all of the YouTube videos posted by Adam and he is very inspiring. He gives a lot of good tips and advice that I have found helpful. His videos are very informative, especially for someone that is new to this venture. He understands that there are people that don't know much about how to create an app and market it, so he does an excellent job at taking his time to explain things.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Nothing I can think of.

What were your goals for this project?

How did you select this vendor?
web search. they included helping to find financing.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
we described our vision and functionality, they set about to create a mock-up and then a prototype. after that they were supposed to provide investor consulting and investor introductions to get it built.
What was the team composition?
Adam the owner and his team including Carlos.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
We found the work to be consistently sloppy. Spelling mistakes, poor grammar, things out of position, functionality not connected properly.
In addition the work was always slow and late. I was forever bugging him about updates. It was one long run of excuses and apologies after another.
Finally I was supposed to receive consulting on finding investors for 12 months and actual investor introductions, neither of which we received.
Overall it was a very bad experience and we would never recommend Suite24 Adam or Carlos to anyone looking to build an app.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Arranged through phone and email. The timing was poor. I felt things were always late or behind schedule or didn't even happen.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Nothing. I wish we had never met them and I feel foolish falling for their sales practices.
Are there any areas for improvement?

For what projects/services did your company hire Suite Twenty Four, LLC?
We engaged Suite Twenty Four, LLC to partake in their app incubator program.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to ready our mobile app for pitching to potential investors.
How did you select this vendor?
My business partner found Suite Twenty Four, LLC by searching online.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
Suite Twenty Four, LLC helped develop our mobile application. The team provided design services, an initial skeleton prototype, and assistance with pitch preparations to the investors. They led several rounds of feedback during the development phase.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
The app is still in progress, but we’re happy with our collaboration with Suite Twenty Four, LLC so far. They’ve created easy-to-follow diagrams and idea maps as well as high-quality designs.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Due to time zone differences, we communicate primarily via email and Skype. The time delay adds extra time to delivery, but hasn’t affected the project overall. The team is reliable, skilled, and easy to work with.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Suite Twenty Four, LLC regularly delivers on our needs; we have an excellent working relationship. Their business model is straightforward for us to understand and apply to our project. The team has handled our app’s complexity well and listens carefully to our feedback.
Are there any areas for improvement?
No, we’re happy with what Suite Twenty Four, LLC has done so far.
Suite Twenty Four Inc. failed to deliver the work, prompting the client to end their relationship and taking a course to do the wireframes on their own. They didn’t communicate adequately nor handled the coaching well. Their team was small and underqualified for the task.
