Rebrand & Web Design for Mobile App Optimization Company
"The founders were really involved and they feel like it's their baby."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the director of marketing for a B2B SAFTA company. We're in the business of app store optimization technology and we offer a product for A/B testing app store pages. We work with mobile companies such as Facebook, Uber, Zynga, and Disney. We offer them a way to A/B test the landing page to increase conversion rates and get more installs.
What challenge were you trying to address with studio&more?
We hired them for a company rebranding project as well as website design.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We worked with studio&more on a rebranding project. We had an existing website, but we didn't really rely on it, so they helped us with website design, as well. We planned out the wireframe, the entire website structure, and they designed it according to the guidelines that they also used when we ran the branding project.
We provided them with the content, logo, color palette, and fonts. We also provided them with all kinds of deliverables such as presentation templates, business cards, and banners for social media. All of these were part of a brand book that we did with them.
What is the team composition?
They're a small team. We basically work with Nitsan (CEO) who oversees everything and we work with Avishay (Creative Director) who is the project manager for this project. They have about 10 people including web designers, 3D artists, and illustrators. I'm still speaking with Avishay —I'm with him on a regular basis and they're always available.
How did you come to work with studio&more?
We basically did a bit of market research in Israel looking for design studios with experience in branding and web design projects. We evaluated a lot of teams and we ended up choosing studio&more.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from July 2019–June 2020. The branding project was started around July 2019 and the website project around December 2019. The branding project was finished first and the website was launched in June 2020. We're still working with them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’re pretty satisfied with their work. They’re professional and their team has great production capabilities. At the end of the day, their designs were of high production value. We won several awards with that website. We're really satisfied with the website and the branding process in general. It was a pleasure working with them.
How did studio&more perform from a project management standpoint?
The founders were really involved and they felt like the project their baby. They handled it pretty well overall. I’m really satisfied with how they manage themselves and I'm really satisfied with the end result.
We didn't have a project tracker, but we had regular meetings to check on the project and everything was really clear. There are the usual back and forth type of things that are happening when we work with an external design studio. It's just the normal workflow that we have with an external design partner and doing a branding project for a start.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They're really creative and at the end of the day, out of the B2B SaaS companies facing the US market that we evaluated in Israel, you'll get the best value for your money when working with studio&more. They have a really good production value to their deliverables and they're keeping it pretty cost-effective.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
When embarking on such a project, you have to make sure that you're ready to start this. If you don't have a solid understanding of what you want, and what's the identity of the company, they won't have much to work with. There’s going to be a lot of back and forth and a lot of mismatch between what they design and what you expect.
If you do know your identity and you baked everything in a really good way and deliver a solid brief to them, I think they do a really good job. For anyone starting to work on such a project with studio&more, you have to do the preparation for it to succeed.
Thanks to studio&more's efforts, the website won awards and the client was extremely satisfied with the outcome of the project. They delivered a high-quality product on time and on budget. The team is professional and always available. Their project management skills are on point.
