I’m the senior VP of marketing and partnerships at OfficeWork Software. We make organizational charting and workforce planning software.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Streamline Results?

We brought Streamline Results on to help us with our websites and internet marketing through Google and other channels.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Streamline Results manages our Google Ads, gives us recommendations on SEO and web design, and performs lead generation. We have seven WordPress websites that we run.

Our initial project with them involved moving our product from the second page on Google.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with a couple of people, but I mainly work with Jonathan (CEO).

How did you come to work with Streamline Results?

We used to have two different agencies before we got to Streamline Results. My boss was introduced to Jonathan by one of his friends. We interviewed him, and then we hit it off.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in 2016.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

With Streamline Results’ help, our organic traffic has been able to generate more leads than our paid search. In 2020, we were able to grow our organic business by 12%.

We find Jonathan’s work excellent. If there are issues, he’s always available to help us fix them. He’s quick and responsive.

Our websites are the heartbeat of our company, so Jonathan is there when we need his services. With a lot of other companies, there is a “secret sauce.” But, with Jonathan, he gives us a full explanation of how to do things.

How did Streamline Results perform from a project management standpoint?

From a project management standpoint, they performed very well. We have weekly meetings. Sometimes, we have more depending on where we are in a project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Jonathan is flexible and reasonable. Their knowledge is also impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We have a similar philosophy about how to do things, so working with them is a great fit. Both of our companies are very methodical.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make your communication clear. Ensure that everybody is on board with the goals you’re trying to achieve. Listen to what Jonathan is saying.

BACKGROUND

We are a private security business that offers many services. We are based in California, and I am the CEO of the company. We offer private investigation services and security guard training, among many other things.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

We needed to attract more qualified traffic to our website. Visitors can call us or they can fill out a contact form on my site to start the sales process. We provide a huge variety of services, so I needed customized landing pages.

I wanted to find people through social media and online SEO searches. These can be from Google, Yahoo, AOL, or any other search engine.

SOLUTION

Streamline Results provides social media marketing, SEO, and PPC. Since we offer many services, they have been able to rank me for over 6,000 keywords. We spend a couple of thousand dollars per month.

We have worked together for over three years. The project is completely ongoing because of our success. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Streamline Results has provided great results. Our bounce rate was over 90%, which is much too high. We are down to about 65% bounce rate, which is a huge improvement. We get 10-12,000 page views per month and 15-25 cold calls per day that contain many qualified leads.

The staff at Streamline Results is really responsive. They always respond to my questions quickly. However, their leader works too hard; he is an awesome expert and knows his craft.

I suggest that he should hire more people and grow the company, that way he isn't overworked and will be able to pump work out faster. That is my only suggestion because Streamline Results is performing wonderfully.

These guys provide true results; you could say there is proof in the pudding.

We are J&J Termite and Pest Control. We do pest control, termites, rodent control, bees and wasps, and gophers. We do inspections, one-time sprays, and maintenance. We are a full-service pest control company.

I am the CEO.

What business challenge were you trying to address with Streamline Results?

They give us the online presence that we're trying to get create with Google pages, AOL searches, Yelp, and Angie's List. They develop our branding further in the markets we want to be in.

SOLUTION

Please describe the scope of their involvement in detail.

It was for online marketing, SEO [search engine optimization], and social media. They revamped our website. This is the second version of it. We change the layout every six to nine months. There is legwork involved. You want to be able to provide them with the content that you want on the website that puts you in the best light. Streamline Results is able to take your text and put it into the website in a logical and attractive way.

We have several Google PPC [pay-per-click] accounts that Streamline Results handles. They fine-tuned the searches. We paid for it, but it's worth it. You're getting more quality leads than someone just searching for pest control. They have also create customized landing pages that lower bounce rate and are more interesting for customers. It's fine-tuned and very specific. Their strategies maximize your dollar for profit.

How did you come to work with Streamline Results?

Their CEO called me on a cold call. I was looking around for a marketing company to help us out. I was looking online. I was going to go with a company called Pest Control Marketing 360, and I was going to get back with them the following day with our decision and Jonathan [Johnson, chief executive officer at Streamline Results] called me, and we were on the phone for a couple of hours going through our website. 

Streamline Results tweaked a couple of things for us right then, and the chemistry we had on the phone was strong. Their CEO is very trustworthy and honest. We go golfing all the time now. What started as a business relationship also forged a personal relationship. Our families get together and have barbeques and other events. What happened with the cold call was amazing for us because of the results we have from that conversation.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

We pay a little less than $1,000 a month for the services we want targeted. The cost depends on what markets you want to reach. For us, we really want to focus on Ventura County, northern parts of Los Angeles County, and Santa Barbara County. We picked the cities we really wanted where we'll get people with disposable income that want to spray. We like to start small and then expand the circle out. 

What is the status of this engagement?

It's ongoing. We've been together a little more than a year now.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

Approximately 90 percent of our calls from potential customers come from online sources that Streamline Results optimized. We're on the first page, and we have 10 percent to 15 percent of our customers from personal referrals. We're a relatively small company, but we do $30,000 a month in sales. It's myself, the co-owner, and a part-time employee to help us out with the overflow. 

We're getting into our slow season but, by next spring, we're looking to pick up an extra one or two people. We get five to 10 calls a day. We didn't expect to be this busy. It's above and beyond our expectations. Our goal is to do $500,000 in sales this year. Right now, we're on pace to hit that.

How did Streamline Results perform from a project management standpoint?

We couldn't be happier. We've had companies try to get us away from them, but there's no way we will change. If we have problems, Streamline is reachable easily, whether it's an email, calling the office line, or doing the online chats.

What distinguishes Streamline Results from other providers?

Streamline Results understands our industry, and it shows on our website, SEO results, marketing tactics, and putting us in touch with other customers in the same industry that service different areas to see what works for them that might help us out and vice versa.

Is there anything Streamline Results could have improved or done differently?

Nothing really. They are in the process of helping us design a couple of brochures. Originally, that wasn't an offering, but we spend an hour a week on the phone and go through the layout. We're putting the finishing touches on it. The more successful we are, the more successful Streamlines Results is.
