As a legal advisory agency, a lot of our work involves dealing with documents and communicating with clients, legal parties, and courts. Managing physical documents and local copies (e.g., in Microsoft Word) was becoming increasingly challenging.
The project's scope was to transition from this mode of work to digital documents. The core feature of the system is to digitize all inbound, outbound, and internal documents and implement workflows for managing court case lifecycles and communication with clients. Physical documents were tagged with barcodes, and computers were equipped with barcode scanners, allowing all employees to instantly find the digital version of a document in the system.

The measurable result is that we implemented a single source of truth in terms of documentation.
