We have worked on several projects with Stellar Soft, We initially got to know them by some start-ups we know recommended them to us. The first project we approached together was the transition of our layouts based on external applications to templates as part of our Shopify site, this greatly improved the speed of the site and also the workflow within the company. 

Other projects we have addressed at the same time are the creation of Templates for our Blog section, Analysis of the speed of our site in its three different hubs and we are still in the development phase with other projects. in order to be able to conclude the previously mentioned projects, stellar soft has scheduled meetings where we have general updates or clarifications as well as a good follow-up via email of the different steps to be taken.

The scope of work involved an array of software development services catered specifically for our company, in order to improve, enhance and expand our business operation capabilities. Firstly, the contract required Stellar Soft. to create a robust Laravel backend for our customer-facing platform. This was a fundamental step towards strengthening our existing infrastructure and equipping it to handle higher user traffic and data volumes efficiently. Secondly, the team from Stellar Soft. was tasked with creating custom integrations to various third-party systems. 

This was a challenging task given the diverse nature of these third-party systems, each with its own unique requirements and specifications. Nonetheless, it was vital to streamline our business processes, increase interoperability, and provide a more seamless user experience. One key aspect of our business is handling payments. Stellar Soft. was asked to design and implement a payment processing system that would provide secure, reliable and smooth transactions for our customers. 

This system had to handle various payment methods and comply with all relevant financial regulations and security protocols. Finally, given the subscription-based nature of our services, an effective Subscription Management functionality was a major deliverable. This needed to allow users to easily subscribe, unsubscribe, and manage their subscriptions. It had to be user-friendly, but also robust and secure, with the ability to handle recurring payments, deal with exceptions, and provide users with clear and timely notifications.

The project now supports a multitude of merchants looking to add subscription functionality to their e-commerce stores. It is a core part of our offering which we couldn't do business without.

We had a specific project we needed to address that we used as a test to see how our companies would work together. The project ran smoothly, it went on in a timely manner and the communication was excellent as it proceeded.

It has been an excellent find for a website developer and we are happy with what they provide for our website as we continue working with them on updates.

Our website was created internally by us when we founded the company. Then, we scaled and got new clients, but we never updated our image. So, our website didn't represent our company any longer. Stellar helped us to rebuild the website, helping us to diversify our services beyond a traditional consulting company, including integration with our online course academy, on-demand consulting, etc.

We had a shortlist of about five companies that presented adequate approaches to our RFP. Stellar provided a very detailed and transparent plan and pricing strategy. Jack was very clear and provided good insights on how to work on it.

Stellar developed a WordPress website (design was provided by our designer via Figma). The website includes a landing page, several other pages, a blog, consultant pages with Calendly integrations to book meetings, REST API integrations with our Learning Management System so they integrated a WooCommerce store for our courses with the course enrollments, among other things.

The communication was mainly via a project manager and the tech leads (Jack and Vladimir). Then, there were at least a couple of developers involved in the process.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are certainly getting higher traffic and interest from our audience. We've received a lot of positive feedback both from the website and from our rebranding.

We had weekly calls at the beginning with asynchronous communication via Slack. Then, as we approached the deadline, we started having daily meetings too.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

When things got difficult (deadlines, certain bugs we found) they made sure they were fixed with maximum priority.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There was a language barrier with some of the developers on live calls. The tech leads were fluent in English, facilitating the communication. I would also suggest covering a larger spectrum of technologies since we would like to use a single vendor for most of our software development projects. But, for the kind of project we built at the time, they did a good job.

Stellar Soft maybe could have been stricter with us on timelines, as they were accomodating and let us slip our own timelines sometimes.
