Please describe your organization. What is your position?

I'm the manager at a software company based out of Dallas, Texas. We develop applications and support our clients.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What business challenge were you trying to address with Appocenter?

We needed help to build and design an application. There was a major flaw in an app of ours. The design was lame, and my users started requesting a design change.

What apps have they helped your team to develop?

During our partnership, Appocenter has helped to provide both iOS and Android applications, so far most of them directory applications. One of them, which has been a very big project, has been going on for almost four years now.

We have worked with Appocenter for a long time, and they have developed multiple applications for us. We work together as a team, Appocenter works to augment our team when we need specific help: designing, coding, and releasing applications. They have been very helpful.

The rates that they provided were really competitive in the market.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

I would say that the total team augmentation partnership is somewhere between $20,000 and $30,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

When we launched the application with the new design, users really liked it. Users liked the design and the new features that they provided like notification and location services. Appocenter has helped to increase the usability of our apps based on new ideas, features, and designs. Due to the success of the first app, we continued to partner with Appocenter from there. They have been very supportive since then.

What distinguishes Appocenter from other providers?

Appocenter is flexible. Their team has very innovative design ideas. They do a great job of creating wonderful images for applications. Also, they make sure applications are very user-friendly. Their team has made sure that the applications are not too complex. They've made the applications very interesting and very attractive.

Is there anything Appocenter could have improved or done differently?

During our partnership, there have been some changes that I suggested, and we definitely work together to fix any issues. There have been some instances where I have had to work closely with them to make sure they understand correctly and I'm communicating my ideas clearly to them.

I would say the processes that they have are well established, and they work hard and try to deliver things on time. From a delivery point of view, they have improved their processes since we have started working with them.
