We brought on Spark Sales Online for software development.
What was the scope of their involvement?
At first, we brought on Spark Sales Online to complete an API integration for stock management. However, once I learned they offered other services, I had Spark Sales Online manage my online storefronts on eBay and Amazon. They’ve optimized my listings and completed services related to being my e-commerce consultants.
Spark Sales Online uses Shopify for all their services, although they’ve also used Magento for other projects. We’re using Shopify now because it's user-friendly, and there are more uses for it across platforms.

I’m the managing director for a healthcare-focused e-commerce agency.
What challenge were you trying to address with Spark Sales Online?
We hired Spark Sales for additional support for certain work areas.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Spark Sales provides us with e-commerce support, developing our brands and stores. They help us with design work, listing optimizations, and development. As an agency, we outsource our work to them wherever possible. Moreover, the team helps us with various ad support.
Our standard process for listing optimizations starts with us describing to them what we want to do. From there, they work on optimizing SKUs — we usually give them around 50 SKUs to optimize. Their resources handle keyword optimization, image editing, and other tasks.
Other things we’ve done with Spark Sales include branding content, such as videos and brand stores. We give them a project brief, and they give us wireframes. We talk back and forth about design upgrades, and then they implement the design in our store.
Further, we’ve done ad hoc tests related to e-commerce with Spark Sales. Sometimes, we get listing or seller audits. The team scrapes information for us and develops listing feedback for our clients

We work with four people, including Ross (Managing Director). Other team members include UI/UX designers, engineers, and a content manager. One person helps us with video production tasks.

Spark Sales’ project management has been fantastic. I’ve always worked with them remotely, but there’s always trust between our teams. I’ve never had to chase them to do any work. If they’re away, they’ll send an email telling us when they’ll come back. We typically communicate via emails and video calls. On top of that, they send us reports on what they’ve done.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their work quality, timely delivery, and affordability are impressive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They can offer more services. Ross is open about what they can and can’t do and never takes on work they can’t do. To be fair, they’re expanding their services; the team plans to provide more marketing services. We'll use their services further as soon as they do that.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Give Spark Sales a thorough brief. If you only give them a basic outline, they’ll do what they think is right. That’s fine because they’re creative, but if you know what you want, clearly emphasize it.
Moreover, don’t just use emails or messages to communicate. Take whatever is required to communicate your message — jump on a Zoom call and utilize that to do the hard work early. From there, you can leave them to do the heavy lifting.
