I’m the owner of a car dealership in Southern California.
What challenge were you trying to address with Somnu Medias?
We needed help with social media management. We had other providers in the past, but we couldn’t find the desired consistency and quality that we required.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Somnu Medias are our social media management partner; they’re always with us in our events to handle our Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok accounts. In addition to that, they also manage our email to connect with our customers. They’re a self-driven team, so I delegate to them, and they take care of everything related to social media — I trust them!

They’re perfect and do it all; their team is self-directed, so I don’t have to do anything. I feel that they know what to do and take the initiative to do it for us. In terms of communication, we use phone calls, text messages, and email. In addition to that, I can trust them with the plans we have for our business; Somnu’s Media’s team always lets us know if they’re good ideas or not.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO and owner of Centrex Software. We are a large CRM and ERP enterprise software platform dedicated to the finance industry in North America.
What challenge were you trying to address with Somnu Medias?
Social media forms a huge part of any company’s marketing strategy these days. We knew we needed to have that presence online for multiple reasons: to communicate, be transparent, and have conversations with our clients through social media outlets. We needed to find a firm that specialized in that area, so we turned to Somnu.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The finance industry tends to be boring, so we needed Somnu to present our company in a way that excited audiences and urged them to follow and engage with us online. They asked us questions about how we build and maintain our relationships with our clients, and they found a way to enhance that.
In the beginning, Somnu only provided us with social media marketing services. They managed our Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn accounts. They also touched on TikTok and other industry-specific social media channels.
Their team spent a lot of time with us to build on-brand content that we could post on our various profiles. A couple of their members would come into our office or accompany us on trade shows and capture videos and photos that we could publish. On the occasions when they were unable to accompany me, I simply sent them videos and photos that I took from my phone, and they had that posted on our social media within a few hours.
As Somnu’s services continued to grow, and they also went into helping us with our email marketing strategy. They built the content for that as well and helped us schedule our email blasts.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked with 5–6 people from their team, which includes Peter (Co-Founder & CEO), Hannah (Social Media Account Manager), and Spencer (Co-Founder & CMO). They have a new member who’s about to dive into email marketing with us.
How did you come to work with Somnu Medias?
Somnu made a post online, which is how I came to know of them initially. I reached out and we kicked things off from there. What ultimately made me want to work with them was the fact that they — compared to the other companies we had interviewed — focused not just on posting content, but also on creating it. It also happened to be that Peter and I had similar hobbies, which made it an even better match.
How much have you invested with them?
We pay a monthly fee of $4,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our partnership began in January 2020 and is currently ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’re careful about considering the number of followers that we get as a metric of success. For our particular industry, it matters more how many people engage with our content, regardless of whether they follow us or not.
That being said, the engagement on our YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn posts have been amazing. The amount of views and impressions on our content has skyrocketed and is still going up with Somnu’s help. We’re anticipating hitting a plateau or a point where we’re consistently active and performing on social media, and that is when we’ll need to be super creative to keep our growth going.
How did Somnu Medias perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re really good. I can’t say enough wonderful things about them. They’re really professional when it comes to setting timelines and expectations. Peter and Hannah, in particular, are so multiple and very considerate about the inner workings of the fintech industry. What I love about their team is they’re always open to evolving the process. They constantly ask what’s working and what isn’t and how they can do better next time.
Anytime we have a question, we could just reach their team via Slack or through phone calls. They also have access to our CRM, through which we do all of our email marketing. They’re super responsive and very willing to learn how to work on our platform. They also introduced us to Hootsuite where we now manage all of our social media accounts.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m really impressed with how much time they spend with us in our office or at our trade shows. Somnu really dives into our business to create engaging and interesting content that represents the personality, owners, and products of our company. They know, from a ground-level perspective, what people online engage with. They don’t just post for the sake of posting something.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don’t have anything negative to say about them. They’ve just been a pleasure to work with.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Social media marketing is something that’s not deeply understood by most corporate people. My advice is to be open-minded to the suggestions of whatever social media team you bring in because they know what audiences engage with and react to. It can be tough, especially when you think you know your own brand, but it’s something that does pay off eventually.

I am one of the owners at Tile Elements, a ceramic tile and stone importer and distributor with a local design showroom, where I am in charge of business development.
What challenge were you trying to address with Somnu Medias?
We usually utilize magazines and word of mouth for our marketing in our industry, but we wanted to take a new marketing direction. Social media has been very successful for other companies in my industry, and we wanted to try and take advantage of it.
However, we didn’t have the knowledge or time to work on our social media marketing in-house, so we hired Somnu Medias.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Somnu Medias creates and posts content to our social media accounts, including Facebook, seven days a week. The teammate from Somnu Medias coordinates with our manufacturers and importers to obtain product visuals that they then use for marketing campaigns. Their team creates a story around each post, curating a lifestyle built around our most current products.

I believe we’ve paid Somnu Medias around $45,000 so far, which includes the cost of the speciality projects we’ve done with them.

We began working with Somnu Medias in May 2021 and our partnership is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Somnu Medias’ has completely conquered our project. Their quarterly reports reflect our overall growth, and at minimum, our quarterly growth is 10%; however, I believe it is often between 15%–20%. Their work has also improved our lead generation — every few days, a new customer comes in and says they found us through social media.
Due to the video walkthrough services Somnu Medias provides, the relationship between my client base and my company has grown, and more than half now utilize Somnu Medias’ services themselves. We’re very pleased with the results of Somnu Medias’ work and we hope to expand our partnership into new areas as we move forward.

Peter coordinates directly with our general manager and importers to manage our social media postings. We initially had face-to-face meetings, but now we mainly communicate via email and have monthly in-person meetings.

We vetted multiple digital marketing agencies that needed to fill a specialized niche in Healthcare. After reviewing, and discussing our needs we selected Somnu Medias as the best fit for our event.

We went through a discovery phase to share our branding and marketing assets leading up to the partnership. We collaborated on strategy, tactics all the way to the pull-through of the event. We had monthly calls on click-through rates, and additional supportive measures we could add to our brand throughout the process.
