The project aims to develop a tablet application that will allow Arboreal's quality control team to perform checks in a way that digitizes the information, enabling the creation of automatic reports and alerts. All information will be stored in a database (or data warehouse) owned by Arboreal, from which Business Intelligence solutions such as Power BI or Tableau can be connected to generate productivity and quality control dashboards.
To plan the solution, we will begin with an on-site consultation for requirements analysis. The consultation will be conducted by a functional analyst and a user experience designer. The cost of the consultation is 100% reimbursable if the entire project is undertaken.
The solution will consist of three components: User Interface, API, and Administration Panel. The user interface will be the frontend of the solution; that is, the screens that the quality control team will have on their tablets to enter the data. During our visit to the plant and in the preliminary consulting phase, we will learn about their work processes and conditions (environment, schedules, body posture, etc.) in order to design a screen with a high level of usability, ensuring easy and fast loading. The API is a component that receives data from the user interface and will be able to receive data from the new machines the company has acquired for automated control in the future. This means that the current manual system will adapt seamlessly to automated control with the new machines. The API is responsible for storing the data in a logical structure within the database. Finally, the administration panel is where users are registered and where entered data and reports are displayed. This solution is custom-developed using the latest technology and delivered turnkey, ready to use, encompassing everything detailed in the budget and with the possibility of adding new controls and reports, as it is a modular and scalable solution.
