I am the co-owner of a commercial real estate sales, leasing, and management company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Softwired, and what were your goals?

Our website was overdue for a complete overhaul. One of our 3rd party vendors that provides an XML data feed was making changes, which helped force our need for an update. Our goal with Softwired Web was to modernize our current website and create a solution to handle the XML feed. Additionally, we were looking for some ongoing service related to digital marketing.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

It was important for our company to find an agency that was skilled enough to be capable of handling the technical intricacies that we required, while still being small enough to allow us access to the principle of the agency.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Softwired Web was extremely professional. We started with a preflight meeting, which evolved into a scope of services presentation. Once we had a set plan of action, Softwired provided our company with a milestone timeline for the entire project. Once the project was underway, we started with design ideas and then moved on to the technical aspects. In the end, we had a custom Wordpress theme that was fully integrated with the XML feed that required.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We primarily worked through Tony, the principle of the agency.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Softwired Web completely met our expectations of delivery. After launch of the new website, our site traffic increased 300%.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Softwired held weekly Zoom meetings in the beginning of the process and we moved to email communication as we moved through the process. Softwired also provided our company with a project management website, where we could add and see milestones checked off during the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The friendly access to the principle of the agency made the difference for our company. We did not want to get stuck dealing with middlemen at a large agency. The vendor was very responsive and great to work with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

With all projects, there was some minor hurdles throughout the process that had to be overcome, but Softwired worked through them quickly and most importantly stayed in constant communication.
