Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

ChaseRace is a deep gaming platform with a lot of different features, that support this unique gaming experience which we mange to offer the players. That is why we needed a prototype to proof that SoftwareAlliance understood and had the competencies to develop the project. Our scope was divided in 3 major areas, the game engine algorithm, the UX design and the backend features.

We used the UNITY platform with C# as program language to build the UX design and game engine. The backend was coded in Php Laravel (version 10) from the ground to a highly operative, secure, and efficient backend system.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

First, the workflow at SoftwareAlliance is super-efficient and the sprints are always delivered on time. Second, the quality of the work is at a very high level compared to the cost of the deliverables. And finally, the creativity and skill to think out of the box is impressing.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

SoftwareAlliance is very flexible in their work structure. They are not afraid to connect you with their employees to save time and avoid errors caused by many communication links. They have all kinds of communication possibilities, and we used Trello, Skype, and e-mail, because we started out this way back in 2012. They accept wild ideas but can bring in the realistic pass to achieve the goals.

I own a small startup

For what projects/services did your company hire Software Alliance, and what were your goals?

I hired this team to develop custom webservices, a mobile application and a Chrome extension for an NLP solution. Our goal was to have a scalable solution where content comes directly via a webservice to the applications. This was very important since it allows us to dynamically update content in one single location, and it will then be reflected in the applications straight away.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I've worked with them for several years now, and I continue to work with them, because they can deliver all-in-one solutions for all required platforms. Furthermore, a project is never too small or to big.

Based on software specs and workflows from us, they first developed design mock-ups, which they continually updated during the dev. phase. After that webservices and nlp-backed were developed and implemented in an iOS app and a Chrome extension via APIs. They worked in sprints defined by us with test phases. And after each test phase, feedback was incorporated and design mock-ups were updated if necessary.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to launch the project on time, which means they managed to stay within the time frame.

Project management was good. They have a very flat org.structure, which means that you can communicate directly with the developers. We communicated through Skype and GitHub. They are online during normal business hours, even though there's a signicant time difference. They are always quick to respond and fix any issues

direct access to the whole team. They were an all-in-one software development company.
