Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Director of Business Operations, Products and Technology. Our Company. Cipher Solutions deploys various software solutions across the MENA region.

For what projects/services did your company hire SoftPort, and what were your goals?

We had a small in house development team that was being stretched to the limit due to various projects. Due to the non constant demand we could not expand our team. SoftPort provides us with solutions where we can employ their Developers and roles to ensure we deliver our projects on time. As the trust developed we started outsourcing complete projects to SoftPort.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found them through Google search. The deciding factors were the attention to quality and timely delivery as well as their culture, which was a great fit.

SoftPort designs, develops and delivers multiple solutions for us including Websites, web applications and mobile applications with various technologies such as WordPress, Laravel, Yii, CodeIgniter, PHP, Andorid, iOS and flutter.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

As mentioned we deploy various roles directly or indirectly and we have worked with their Project Managers, Business Analysts, Senior developers, Ui & UX Designers as well as various other support roles.

Their on time delivery rate is around 96%

They use agile and Devops methodologies and communicate using MS Teams, Asana and Clickup

The honesty and quality of the development team are impressive. Overall culture facilitates a happy team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Their documentation is a bit on the weaker end, we need to work with them closely to ensure it is up to the mark.
