Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the CEO of a SaaS [Software-as-a-service] security and asset management company. One of our key services is the automated delivery of scheduled vaults—previously known as capsules—to their designated recipients. The turnover is based on 3 triggered events: a specific date, the owner’s death, or the inability to respond to a heartbeat text or email.

For what projects/services did your company hire Softelix?

We needed help with development and testing services for our new site, which was rebranded from secretvalet.com to legacyarmour.com.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to produce a high-quality product within the timeline, so we wanted to work with someone who could provide talent with a strong skill set.

How did you select this vendor?

They were chosen after multiple iterations of searching and interviewing for the right people on Upwork.

Describe the project in detail.

Initially, they signed an NDA [non-disclosure agreement], and we provided them with our code and access to the Azure portal. They then helped us migrate the existing WebJobs from secretvalet Azure to legacyarmour Azure. After they’d performed the necessary modifications, we did testing to make sure that everything worked well with the existing system. They’ve also added 2 CTA [call to action] buttons to the existing UI [user interface]. We are constantly adding more features, and we plan to work with them on version 2.0.

What was the team composition?

We’ve worked with 3 people: a project manager, a developer, and a tester.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Softelix has solved many obstacles and improved some of our initial requirements. A measurement of success is the delivery of all vaults content to designated recipients, based on scheduled WebJobs in the new environment. So far, the online service performs according to specifications.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They’ve exceeded expectations. We have great communication via Skype, and they are always available. We use Upwork tools for time tracking.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are extremely knowledgeable and flexible. They understand our vision and business objectives, aligning their priorities with ours when things changed.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I cannot think of any.
