CTRL-Z IT is a skincare brand that develops pimple patches to eliminate and reduce acne. Their goal is to educate and change the stigma around acne while focusing on instilling confidence in their customers.

Jason Chung is a real estate agent in Honolulu, Hawaii, where his goal is to find new ways to help clients market their listings better and provide services for clients and agents.

The client was not happy with her original website. She tried to fix it on her own and purchased a pre-made Squarespace template but ended with a much worse website than the original one.

Cook with FIKA is a minimalist line of cookware designed to bring both comfort and convenience to your daily life.
The client's goal was to establish her brand's social presence and grow her company's total overall sales.
Since working with the client, we helped to establish a coherent social presence across all of her social media platforms. Along with consistent engagement, we have been pleased with the results.
In three months alone, Cook with FIKA's total Instagram reach was up by 586% with the total impressions being over 200k.
From that, we have worked alongside the client to come up with effective advertising strategies to boost her brand's sales.
In January, we conducted a successful Facebook advertising campaign that generated 17 purchases. Cook with FIKA's Click Through Rate (CTR) was 2.93% with the Return of Assets (ROAs) being 3.58.

I’m the owner and CEO of The Cole Hotel. We’re a 30-room mid-century boutique hotel in Palm Springs with a full-service bar and restaurant.
What challenge were you trying to address with KK DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY?
We were hoping to capture more market share by increasing our online presence through our social media.
What was the scope of their involvement?
KK DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY provides social media marketing services for us. We provide them with content, including pictures, videos, and other information about the different programs and events going on in the hotel, like our drink specials. They have access to our Google Drive that has all the pictures and videos of our property, along with background information on the property’s history. We also provide them with many media pieces that have been done on the hotel from magazines, newspapers, and local TV stations.
KK DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY uses all those resources and provides us with the storyboard of the pictures, graphics, and texts that they’re going to publish every month on our social media platforms, which are Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. They post content on all of our pages five days a week, and it’s something different every day.
KK DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY also helps us answer questions and comments that customers post on our social media profiles unless they are technical or customer-service-related questions that can’t be answered by them. In those cases, they pass them on to us.
In the beginning, they spent some time doing research on the demographics of our markets, so we could come up with a game plan about who to market and how to market to those customers.
What is the team composition?
We work with 2–3 people from KK DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY. Kristina (CEO) is our main point of contact.
How did you come to work with KK DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY?
I used an online site that helps searching social media marketing agencies and graphic designers. I can’t remember the name, but it’s an online clearinghouse for these types of agencies.
I put out what I was looking for and got a lot of responses, but KK DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY’s response was the most impressive — their experience fit this project the best.
How much have you invested with them?
We started with an $800 per month contract, and we’ve expanded it. If we count the advertising boost on Facebook, we’re looking at a cost of $1,100 per month. We’ve spent around $3,000–$4,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in February 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I hired KK DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY because I don’t fully understand how social media works. However, as far as I’m concerned, we’re getting a lot of traffic, engagement, and likes — it seems to be very important.
A lot of the engagement is created organically thanks to the work that they do. Our business has grown significantly over the last few months, and they’ve been a big part of that growth.
How did KK DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY perform from a project management standpoint?
KK DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY's project management is really good. They’re communicative and explain things very well. The onboarding process was a little difficult because we were transitioning from Facebook Pro to Facebook Business Suite. That transition made it really hard to give them access to our Facebook and Instagram accounts so that they could manage them.
KK DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY was a huge help in getting us past that challenge. Their technical knowledge is excellent, and they’re very good at communicating and giving directions. The team is very pleasant and fun to work with — we can tell that they're very enthusiastic about their work.
We started this project with a couple of Zoom calls, and everything else from there has been managed via email. We use shared Google Drive and Dropbox folders.
What did you find most impressive about them?
KK DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY’s cost distinguishes them. They’re less expensive than other agencies. We met with some local firms that offered the same services, and they were significantly more expensive than KK DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY, even though they were located in California.
Us providing them with content probably helps to keep their costs down. As we’re in the hotel business, we were closed most of last year, so we didn’t have much money. Cost definitely was a big consideration for us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
As a hotel, social media is new territory for us. It’s hard to say where KK DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY could improve on since we don’t know much about it. In time, I’m sure we’ll figure out some areas of improvement if there are, but it has been a great experience so far.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have all of your files, content, and materials together and available to provide them to KK DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY, especially if you’re not located where they are.
Quality content is very important. It depends on the type of business, but you’ll probably need to hire a professional photographer and videographer to create great pictures and videos. For example, we’re doing events, so it’s very important for us to capture them. If you don’t have the content, it’s going to be hard for them to work with you.

I work for myself as a life coach, meditation instructor, and reiki master. I do everything in reference to energy and helping people find their happiness through energy.

They manage all of my social media. They create my social media and content calendars, and they know exactly what to post on behalf of my business.
What was the scope of their involvement?
KK DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY (KK DIGITAL) works with my Instagram and Facebook business page. Since I’m a life coach, they’ve spoken to me, looked at my website and personal page, and got a feel for my personality in order to bring engagement. They’ll ask certain questions and get people to actually respond and become familiar with what I do. They post questions, quotes, and more, and they all circle back to any type of service I offer. They usually do a monthly calendar ahead of time.

I work with Kristina (CEO). We started with 1–3 people, and now she has 10 employees. Fatima (Account Manager & Influencer Marketing Specialist) does my content calendar now; Kristina kind of handed the torch over to her.

I found Kristina on Fiverr, where I saw her bio. There was a picture of her and a brief explanation of what she did. I looked at many options, but I really liked something about her energy, so I kept coming back to her. Up until now, I’ve spent about $3,000.

We started working together in September 2020, and I continue to work with them on an ongoing basis.

I measure it by the level of engagement. I’ve also gotten some clients who have services booked directly from their posts, but I’ve never really counted. I know that every month I’m definitely getting some sort of return from that month’s posts, but I’m not sure how many people. However, I do know it’s been attracting more clients and opportunities to talk with them.

They’re great at meeting deadlines. On the contrary, they usually have to wait for me for approval because I have so many other things going on. If I message them, they respond very quickly. I have check-in meetings with Kristina so she can see how everything is going. Sometimes they’ll send me a message just asking if I’m happy with everything or if I’d like anything to change. They’re really attentive.

You should fill that out with as much detail as possible because it really gives them an opportunity to know your needs and who you are. If they have more information, they can create better content for your specific business and align all the posts with what you’re doing.

I’m the owner of a food import and distribution company.
What challenge were you trying to address with KK DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY?
They helped us establish an online presence for a lineup of seafood and meat products. I don’t have a strong social media background, so I was looking for someone to help us grow the brand.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They handle scheduling, posting, and content layout for our Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest pages. We’ll normally provide pictures of our products, but their team has done photography and filmography as needed. They’ve started to respond to comments on each page as well.

Most of our communication was via email, and that worked well. They responded in a timely manner and set up meetings when I needed them. I could also call them if I needed anything right away as well.
Our biggest challenge was around managing the time difference, but that wasn’t a big deal. We worked together to find times that worked for both of us.
