Trousseau hired Social Ninjas to support Social Media strategy, content, and engagement on Facebook and Instagram.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goals were to increase engagement, build brand awareness, and elevate the look and feel of the brand on social media platforms.
How did you select Social Ninjas?
We selected Social Ninjas based on their proven industry experience with similar brands as well as their previous support of brands on the Portuguese market. Trousseau, although based in Ireland, has strong ties to Portugal and has begun expanding its product offering to include Portuguese products.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
After an introductory call, Social Ninjas created for us a draft sample of social media engagement for a given month, including all collateral and copy. We were impressed by their level of detail, design, and ability to capture the ethos and mission of our company. We then agreed on the terms and process for monthly review of social media content and created a process we continue to use and iterate on.
What was the team composition?
The team is composed of the two co-owners and content strategists, a social media manager and small team of designers.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Outcomes are still ongoing but engagement has increased to a satisfactory level and the brand look and feel has been improved and consolidated.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The team is easy to communicate with over email or virtual meetings. They have been quick to action feedback, provide suggestions, and dissuade us from certain strategies they know will not land well on social media.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They have been exceptionally easy to work with and has set clear expectations in what and when they will deliver. They have always met or exceeded deadlines and have been able to help a burgeoning e-commerce brand grow and expand on a market they ultimately were not initially familiar with.

For what projects/services did your company hire Social Ninjas?
We were looking to build brand awareness in Portugal and market to the EU. We needed an experienced Portuguese team to outsource both the strategic side, creative and content development of our marketing campaign as well as manage our social media platforms.

We wanted to increase brand awareness and sales in Europe. We wanted a team that communicated well, was easy to work with and understood the value of our product. Our hope is to establish our brand in Portugal and reach the rest of Europe.

I searched extensively online for a digital marketing team that would fit our budget and needs. I came across several marketing firms however they didn't provide the personal touch that our small business needed. Creation and management of social media and Google advertising campaigns Creation and management of campaigns in Google Search Network with the goal of generating more traffic and conversions in our online store. Development of a digital strategy for all social channels and e-newsletters, social media management and content development both in English and Portuguese as well as community management on social channels.

Social Ninjas has a very creative and energetic team. They each have their own expertise that they bring to the table which makes their team well rounded.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Within a month we have seen a tremendous growth in our Facebook and Pinterest accounts. Our engagement has also grown on all of our channels.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Even though we work on different time zones, the workflow has been seamless. The level of communication has never concerned me.
What did you find most impressive about this company?

I’m the marketing and customer support European manager for educational technology at Texas Instruments, an electronics company.
For what projects/services did your company hire Social Ninjas?
Our company works with Social Ninjas for design projects (create images for our website, roll-ups, and brochures), web projects (design of HTML pages), and email implementation in our e-newsletter tool.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to work with a company that understood our brand and needs and could create innovative communications quickly. Email quality and quantity had to increase, and we wanted to achieve European coordination and alignment without losing specificity.
How did you select this vendor?
We have specific guidelines to procure vendors, with some of them being that we need to consult at least three different agencies, have briefings and proposals, and perform a quality-price analysis. Social Ninjas was the best option. The quality of the proposal stood out, but they were also strongly aligned with our brand guidelines, needs, and tone. The cost per deliverable was also very attractive.

One of our projects is for email marketing. Social Ninjas plans content in several languages, creates images for the newsletters, and implements everything in the e-newsletter tool. They’ve also done significant HTML design with us, moving through proposal, creation, and approval process for images. Their design skills extend to creating images for our website and assorted events and campaigns and scaling them for multiple uses.

There are always two people involved from the vendor side: a project manager and a designer. Their team has been stable.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our email open rate has increased by around 30% quarterly, and our click-through rate has grown as well. Qualitatively, our communications are much more harmonious and diversified than they were while still being 100% compliant with our guidelines.

They understand the needs and challenges of customers and trying everything in their power to adapt accordingly.
