I’m the CEO of a company that does brand development and production to market special events.

We sell tickets and experiences and needed to raise awareness to boost ticket sales.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They created our e-commerce channels and website. Along with that, they built landing pages, call to action links, and designs. The graphic design elements were for ads to be published on Facebook, other social media platforms, and our website. 

We provided them with a storyboard and a theme board. That allows us to give them an idea of what we’d like for our work. Then, they get to work, showing us our different options once they’re done iterating. The end site is pretty simple, encouraging people to take action. 

At this point, they’re our go-to team. If we ever need any changes or website help, we can call on them to make sure that things are done correctly. 

What is the team composition?

Oscar (Founder & Lead Developer, Sobefy E-Commerce Agency) is my main point of contact. He is largely executing to meet our needs.

How did you come to work with Sobefy E-Commerce Agency?

I was introduced to them by someone within my network. He seemed like he was right for the job.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in April 2019 and are still working together on an ad hoc basis.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The concepts and campaigns have worked successfully. While we can’t attribute all the success to his efforts, I can assert that the deliverables were solid. Sometimes, with site creation, less is more. They’re great at simplifying a platform, supporting it, and driving it forward. His ideas and suggestions were very helpful. He can capture our needs and provide appropriate feedback.

How did Sobefy E-Commerce Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re good listeners and show great attention to detail. Sometimes, communication can be difficult when working with an outsourced team. Because Oscar was committed to resolving problems quickly, we were confident that he could deliver the message that we wanted. His work ethic and communication are great.

What did you find most impressive about them?

His professionalism and responsiveness to calls really stood out to us. The level of communication we were getting was great.

Are there any areas they could improve?

He did a great job for us, so I don’t think there’s anything I could improve on.

They showed a fast turnaround and good attention to detail. Because the first project was so seamless, we’ve kept them on other projects along the way.

After that, they reworked the layout of our website, adding new organizational features and upgrading the overall design. In terms of collateral, they created ads and a program book that we handed out to everyone at the conferences.

I worked with a single contact, but I’m positive that there was a bigger team working in the background.

They provided excellent designs on great turnaround times. Everything that they send us is new, fresh, demonstrates attention to detail, and clean. We’re really impressed. Normally, we don’t get much feedback on our design work. However, their work has generated tons of positive feedback.

Sobefy E-Commerce Agency created our website, managed our social media, and helped with our merchant account. They provided online advertising support with PPC management, keywords tracking, and SEO efforts. The company helped us buy ads and improve our Google Analytics.

The team created content for our site and graphics for our ads. Sobefy E-Commerce Agency helped us establish a structure and official landing page on Amazon. They assisted and directly communicated with Amazon representatives to shift our product fulfillment responsibilities.

Our website transformed into a findable and user-friendly platform. We now have social media and advertising that specifically target our audience. Our Google Analytics has improved across metrics, and we’re funneling sales through Amazon.

Because my strengths lie within the entertainment industry, I’m not that knowledgeable about online matters. Oscar was extremely patient and took the time to tell me what he was doing and why. He made us feel comfortable by working to understand our needs.

I’ve stayed with them because of their ability to explain the what and why behind the solutions. Oscar educates us and makes it easy to move forward. He’s also flexible and reliable. If it’s 10:00 at night and I’m uncomfortable about something, I can call him and he’ll answer. He’s honest and has a good personality.

He listens, works fast, and stays on schedule. If he commits to a deadline, he’ll meet it 90% of the time. They truly delivered the best possible solution to achieve our goals.

What did you find most impressive about them?

His willingness and creativity impressed us the most. Oscar’s work ethic is great. For example, after a project is complete, he zips up the files and provides us a copy. Everything is transparent. It’s nice that we don't depend on him to operate. Compared to other partners we've had in the past, they're more reliable and honest.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Because Oscar takes this work so seriously, he tries to do everything. That can be overly accommodating.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Buckle your seat belt because Oscar is a go-getter. You have to be willing to add to what he delivers. He’s serious about his work.
