Updating our website:

• working on all the website style elements and core landing pages: the team offered their view on how the website could be updated
• the first proposals were super fast and covered all our requirements. Plus, after some testing during the year, we raised some new ideas for improving our visitors' experience on our website, and the team implemented all our suggestions.

Preparing marketing kit that included:

• banners for ads
• gifs for Product Hunt launch
• whitepaper. Design for our product
• designing elements for our product like icons, buttons, etc.
• adjusting the style of our demos (themes, color scheme, etc.)

Usually the process in our company is as follows: - a Product Manager or Business analyst take the first brainstorming session with the customer to come up with the initial ideas - then a meeting with the design team follows - as the result, Yulia and her team provide several options to tackle the ideas - the next step is review and discussion together with the customer and the development team.

This meeting is one of the most important ones as it ensures that the customer's needs are met and the dev team can actually implement those. - once the final solution is selected, snig.digital provide everyone with the detailed mock-ups, UX steps and the details required for the dev team.

In total we worked with 3 people and Yulia has always been supervising all projects to ensure both sides understand each other well and are happy with the outcomes.

Communication is seamless and timely. The team provides frequent updates via calls, meetings, and chat. They always deliver on time with minimum edits necessary.

Yulia and her team have years of experience. You can rely on their expertise by 100%. They are always on top of the most recent trends in web and mobile design. While working on the project they apply their years of expertise and the newest approaches to achieve the best results.

I am the Chief Product Officer at Prozorro.Sale. GovTech company that develops bespoke software solutions for sale and lease of a variety of state and municipal assets.

Our main product is an online auction. We have several types of auctions for different types of markets and assets. We`ve used free UI Kit from the very beginning. And it did not fully perform its tasks and was quite outdated.

We hired snig.digital to focus on the UX\UI of the auctions. Our goal was to have a modern, user-friendly web app optimized for mobile devices. And to get a possibility to create new auction types and extend product functionality based on the design system. The main focuses were:

The goal of the project was to create an auction UI\UX that is user-friendly and at the same time considers some legal limitations.

The stages were:

1. Showstage: creating a concept and first designs to get a feel how the product will look like
2. Work with stakeholders: demonstration of the concept, feedback gathering, coordination with lawyers for the mandatory legal requirements for the UI\UX
3. Production: the designs were created for all the auction types in detail
4. Documentation on the flows, UX, Statuses, logics, and additional comments and descriptions for the developers
5. Development support: communication and consulting of the separate development and QA teams during the development phase
6. Support and postproduction, UI\UX for additional products, improvements after collecting analytics and feedback from users

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We help to sell and lease assets worth tens of dollars to hundreds of millions of dollars. So clear and high-quality work with the auction interface is critical for our customers. We`ve significantly updated UI\UX of several existing auction types. And designed two new types. As a result, we have got not only convenient but also a beautiful modern system.

Work with the system became obvious to the participants and observers of the auction. We have received positive feedback from users, although some changes were quite drastic. Now they can comfortably interact with the system almost independently of the device type. 

The time to design a new type of auction or additional products has decreased.

And last but not least — thanks to the new UI\UX we`ve reduced the number of mechanical errors when working with the auction interface to almost zero. And support can immediately understand a user's problems if they occur.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project required minimal effort to coordinate to achieve a great result. Snig.digital team works productively as an autonomous team and perfectly communicates with other teams during the development cycle. 

And they provide perfect final mock-ups with detailed instructions for the developers.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Even if you don`t know the exact requirements, they would find a way to solve the task. And to bring you a better solution, than you pictured as the best one. They can understand the needs of business and customers and deliver the best solution in a short time.

Their UX skills are absolutely phenomenal. — Yulia does a notable job at understanding very complex requirements. She's saved me from brain overload on numerous occasions by taking thoughts (sometimes very jumbled) and helping me visualize things.

It's almost as if they apply UX principles to their own style of work by making things frictionless and anticipating / removing our concerns before they can seep in and cause problems. They simply know how to make our lives easier. As a CEO, I am spread so thin that I don't always have the mental bandwidth to ensure that projects don't go sideways. Working with them was energizing and gave me momentum vs working with some other agencies that just felt like a drag.
