Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Director of Consumer Marketing at Domain, Australia's home of property, responsible for driving brand growth across our residential, Home Loans and Insurance businesses.

For what projects/services did your company hire Snackable Media?

Our business was thrust into a unique position during COVID, where we needed to pivot our focus to ensure consumers were still able to inspect and transact property online.

Not being able to do an inperson shoot presented us with a big challenge and Snackable Media came to the table with animated solutions for videos that would work across a range of channels at a really competitive price point.

How did you select Snackable Media?

We reviewed a range of video production companies and were impressed by Snakable's track record and previous work. We met Jack and were instantly impressed by his enthusiasm and thoroughness combined with his clear understanding of how to ensure video content connects with consumers.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

Once we decided on Snackable, we shared a detailed brief which the team dove right into to understand our product and goals of the video assets. We collaborated to develop scripts and storyboards, we loved how fluid, speedy and easy the whole process was.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

The project management was seamless and Snackable were always quick to action feedback and challenge us where they thought they could improve the output in some way.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have seen considerable uplifts in our brand metrics and home loan applications driven by the videos from Snackable.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was really seamless. Snackable were super responsive and really quick to turn around what we needed, even with tight timelines.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Snackable are a truly collaborative agency who really know their stuff. I was super impressed by their ability to hone in on the commercial aspects of the brief and be clear on what the assets needed to achieve to be successful.

Kreate is an integrated marketing agency that specializes in PR communications and experiences all across Australia. I’m a partner in the business.

What challenge were you trying to address with Köllectve?

We connected with Jack (Founder & Executive Producer) to assist with content and video production. They help us develop content that will be captivating for a design audience that will reach our targets.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Jack and his team work with us on the go to produce the pieces of content we need. Sometimes they produce our own internal projects. They’ve created work that showcases what we do as a business that will hopefully reach prospective clients.

For videos, their team does the full-service through editing and scripting. They help us guide on anything we might need during the productions.

For one project, Jack and his team helped us create content for a stage show that we hoped would encourage attendance for the show.

What is the team composition?

We mainly worked with Jack. For actual filming, we worked with two others, and then during post-production, I think about six people are involved.

How did you come to work with Köllectve?

I’ve known Jack a long time from when he used to work elsewhere. I saw some of the great work that Köllectve was doing. I knew they would give a great product from a value perspective, and that they could deliver the work. Jack also knows our industry quite well.

How much have you invested with them?

In total, we’ve spent between $35,000–$50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement with Köllectve started in January 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve worked with them on about four projects, a mix between internal and external ones. For the stage show project, we’ve reached over half a million views on the video, which was far beyond our expectations. We’ve always had strong and positive feedback for them. We’ve seen them work with more and more agencies in our field.

How did Köllectve perform from a project management standpoint?

The communication was fantastic. They went above and beyond to help us. Jack is flexible. He’ll invest additional time and hours to make sure the projects are right. He’s also very passionate about his work.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I love working with Köllectve because they’ve become an extension of our team. They operate the content and production pace of our agency to get the job done. Their personable approach makes it a pleasant experience.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not at present. I want to see how they grow and expand their reach.
