What was the scope of their involvement?
One of our projects was a series of short YouTube videos on behalf of the city of Buenos Aires. They wanted to attract tourists from different cities, including New York City. I spent a week with SN Media Services to film videos in Manhattan and Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We did both interviews and studio work to recreate the stories we found.
It was a dynamic experience—we had to adapt to the weather, location, ongoing events like the New York Marathon, and agenda changes. Sebastian (Camera Operator / Video Editor / Video Producer, SN Media Services) brought his photography and lighting knowledge to make beautiful footage. For each project, he is in charge of all recording; that involves taking control of the teleprompter, camera, lights, and sound, among other aspects. We did the editing in-house.
