BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am managing director in our factory that produces construction chemicals.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Smartover?

We’re updating our current UI to optimize WEB platform and make it more intuitive.

What were your goals for this project?

We were trying to create a digital inovative experience for our clients. We wanted a very user-oriented asset, and we needed momentum to help out with that. We brought them in to support the growth and trajectory of UX. We also created a plan for our sets of products and how to use them all together to create a user-focused journey.

SOLUTION

How did you select Smartover?

They were introduced to me by our founder, who somehow knew of their work.

Describe the project in detail.

They researched the our industry and familiarized themselves with the supposed product range we were building. We had about research and interviews with potential users. We outlined what we needed done and what we were working on. After there were a couple of phases after that.

First, they did the black and white wireframes. Once we reviewed and approved those, we moved onto colored, high-fidelity wireframes. Then, we worked on UI. They provided us with all of the wireframes, user interviews, and insights from the engagement.

What was the team composition?

a project manager, a UX designer & a UI designer.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our customers with whom we do the research process was in awe of the new platform. It does a great job serving its key functionality and making complex interactions more intuitive. Smartover has changed our platform for the better.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had video calls once a week, and they showed us their progress weekly. They shared wireframes, and we’d describe what was working and what we needed on.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I'm most impressed by their high degree of flexibility. They were receptive to our ideas and provided valuable feedback. Their designers was top-notch in terms of talent.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No. They are fine. I would encourage them to continue doing exactly what they're doing, building great designs.
