I’m the founder and CEO of Noteefy, a software company for golf courses and consumers to help automate the process of finding and booking golf tee times.

What challenge were you trying to address with Smarter.Codes?

I needed a software development partner to create my product.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Smarter.Codes has designed and developed my web application, from the MVP to the functional launched product. They’ve helped with the complete product development, including the front- and backend infrastructure. 

Smarter.Codes has used Figma for design and a full tech stack for development, including Python, React, Java, and Microsoft Azure. Smarter.Codes has also used MongoDB databases.

The web app developed by Smarter.Codes consists of a unique website with a web crawler that scrapes data from the course sites and creates offers and preferences. We work on a daily basis, and Smarter.Codes takes care of my product management and growth. 

What is the team composition?

I initially worked with their founder, and one of their tech leads has managed most of the development. I’ve also worked with product leads and a team of engineers.

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve invested around $150,000 with Smarter.Codes.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with Smarter.Codes in April 2022, and our partnership is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The web app developed by Smarter.Codes has worked well, and we currently have a few thousand active users. Additionally, we’re scaling our B2B platform. 

Overall, Smarter.Codes has done a great job. They’re professional and have shown a great level of capability — Smarter.Codes has been a good partner.

How did Smarter.Codes perform from a project management standpoint?

Smarter.Codes has performed above my expectations. They’re communicative, hardworking, and detail-oriented. We use Slack and Trello for project management and communication.
