I'm the founder of a health and wellness e-commerce brand.

For what projects/services did your company hire Smart eStrategy, and what were your goals?

I participated in Smart e-Strategy's Accelerator to learn Facebook ads, Klaviyo and Shopify. I wanted to know how to use all of these platforms so that I could start out doing the work myself and then outsource it as I scaled.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The deciding factor was the amount of coaching and support - I was able to learn on my own time and then attend Zoom calls to ask questions specific to my business and receive coaching in real time.

They provide an online learning portal for up to date video tutorials and then three calls per week for ongoing learning and support.

I worked with the founders and their support staff.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I learned all aspects of Facebook ads (how to create them and then interpret the data), how to use Klaviyo to send email flows and campaigns, how to make updates and changes to my Shopify website and how to build a listing on Amazon.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We communicated via Slack and during the three weekly calls.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Smart e-Strategy has integrity in their deliverables, they're knowledgable and they were invested in seeing their clients succeed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No.

I am the owner of Scale Motorsport, we design products for people that build model cars, we are to model car building like AMG is to Mercedes or Ruf is Porsche providing high end detail components to builders wanting advance the quality of their skills while enhancing the beauty and accuracy of their builds. Our company motto is "BUILD SOMETHING!"

To train us on how to develop and execute an integrated and effective social media presence across several different platforms: Facebook, Instagram and Klaviyo for email marketing. Furthermore we learned how to use and apply many different types of online tools designed to make our social media existence powerful and memorable.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found them on Facebook! After several phone calls we felt they were honest, personal and really knew their craft across a lot of different platforms

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

This wasn't one specific project, although Smart eStrategy is available to hire to do all the work. We hired them to train us so that we had a better, clearer understanding of what "social media marketing" is all about. Gaining the vital fundamentals of this activity now gives us a better foundation to work with an outside firm to take on our social media campaigns

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

2021 will a record sales year for Scale Motorsport, this says a lot because we are not a start up, we are 23 years old. The confidence and power we gained from working with eSmart Strategy really provided a foundation from which we were able to launch several high end products that directly contributed to our sales volume

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Using Slack we are in constant contact with all team members who have been there to support our efforts should we run into roadblocks. Each member of their team has a different, yet complimentary set of skills that support us along the way

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Clearly, their depth of knowledge and command of all the tools has been really outstanding.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In the beginning it was difficult to get a clear understanding of what social media marketing was made up of and how we could use it to market our business, their are a lot of moving parts to this activity. For a beginner, like we are, we didn't "ramp up" as quickly as I think we could have had their course outline been communicated differently
