BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the co founder of a marketplace and platform for Black makers. We're on a mission to amplify the products and services of Black creators and make it as easy as possible for people to shop with them.

For what projects/services did your company hire °Small World?

We worked with °Small World on the design for our Christmas billboard campaign.

How did you select this vendor?

We had worked with Dan & Harvey previously on a series of free marketing workshops for our makers. The sessions were extremely informative and it was clear they knew their stuff!

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Once we had the details of the campaign finalised (dates, locations), we discussed with them what we'd like the campaign to achieve. It was coming at a particularly busy time for us as a business, and so °Small World took the lead in the project. They created the brief, sourced and organised the creative aspects and lent their professional opinion on direction.

What was the team composition?

I worked with both co founders.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We had a very positive reception from new and existing customers to the campaign. We ended up with a piece of work that clearly articulated our message and was capable of being reused outside of the original campaign too.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Extremely effective: they kept the project moving in the right direction and at the right pace.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their commitment to doing right by small businesses. Their passion seeps into their work and the way in which they interact with us, which meant every call ended in smiles and a genuine excitement for the next steps. They've achieved so much in such a short time, and it was so easy to work with them.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

Honestly, no.
