Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

It was required to design or adapt a bootloader that enables firmware updates for a STM32-Microcontroller based embedded sensor system. The bootloader should check if a new firmware version is stored on a connected SD card and if so perform a firmware update from a firmware image stored on that SD card. Additionally this bootloader had to be included into the existing firmware project based on a Makefile based build system.

Another part of the project was to enable support for reading and writing the attached SD card of the embedded sensor system via USB.

The goals were reached in time, communication about the progress was always transparent and everything worked out.

The progress was always clear, the time estimate for the project was accurate, i.e. the price in the end matched the offer. All items were delivered in time. 

Our requirements didn't change while the project was ongoing.

They were experts in what they did. Maciek was able to adapt to our project structure very quickly due to his deep understanding and included the new code seamlessly into our existing project. There was no extra effort for us to make things working, it felt like he was on our team for a longer time already.

First, bug fixing of existing code base for two IoT systems based on ESP32 and a LoRa radio chip. Afterwards adding new features to adapt the code base to a new PCB version. Ongoing is the development of an end of line test system including the concept work and implementation of a test interface. Also ongoing the development of a NB-IoT communication for the IoT camera.

They were able to deliver in time and budget the embedded firmware for the pre-series of the next iteration of our core product.
