I’m the founder of a startup mobile games company developing for Android and iOS.

We were running a test campaign in Turkey, and we needed consultancy services for app-store optimization and user acquisition.

Six Mile Media worked on user acquisition and app-store optimization for Google Play. They attracted users from around the world for us by optimizing screenshots and video on the store page.

We paid $3,000 for a one-time project, plus a monthly consultancy fee.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Six Mile Media in May 2019. We’re developing a new game, and we’ll likely continue with them.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We attracted 50 users to test our app. We’ve decided to make some modifications to that product, but we’ll likely work with Six Mile in the future.

How did Six Mile Media perform from a project management standpoint?

They provided what they say they would, within our timelines. We were late by two-or-so days, but that’s normal.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re friendly to startups, and they gave us advice on how we can promote our apps in the future. That separates them from bigger agencies who tend to work with big customers.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They delivered what they promised, and I don’t remember any improvement points.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Digital marketing is very important for startups, and it’s important to learn as much as possible about how it applies to a service or sector.
