I'm the head of marketing at Idiomatic. Idiomatic is a customer intelligence platform (or we're also called customer feedback analytics software).

We hired Simplistics to develop our website from scratch. We did the website design ourselves, but we didn't want to use our internal engineering team's time for this project. We needed an outsourced web development team who're experts in wordpress and deliver projects fast and with good quality.

I have worked with Simplistics in my previous role to design my former company's website. Deciding factors were reasonable budget, timely delivery of the website, quality of work and great project management.

WordPress website & blog. We delivered the designs on Figma and they developed the website for us.

We had a dedicated project manager. I'm not sure exactly how many engineers worked on this project but they worked overtime for us when we needed the website to be developed in half the time they originally proposed. (We paid double of course but it was worth it.) We were grateful for their flexibility and willingness to work overtime.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We got compliments from our customers and community for how our website looks. Even though we've launched it a couple months ago, we're close to 10K traffic/month.

This might be my top reason why I wanted to work with Simplistics again. I've worked with the same project/account manager on both projects so I can only speak about that person. She's been the best. She's always on top things, responds timely and patiently to every single question we have. She always had the best attitude and was very solution oriented.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Something that was really important for us was to have access to the team after we launched the website to fix bugs or develop new features. We see Simplistics as part of our team and continue to work with them for everything website related. Also, for the level of service they provide, their prices are very reasonable, which makes it a smart choice for us to work with them long term rather than using our internal engineering team's time for website related issues.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing major I can think of. Every now and then we run into small bugs on the website but that's normal and they always fix them very fast.

Simplistics Web Design Inc. has been creating an MVP software for us, from ideation to market. They’ve designed the UI/UX and coded this product from scratch as a standalone plug-in for a WooCommerce based WordPress site. 

For the development, we provided them with rudimentary wireframes and mockups, and once we got their feedback, they started developing the platform.

We’re currently scoping another project that we’re doing together.

Their work has been awesome; we’ve hit every milestone, and they’ve gone above and beyond our timeliness. Also, they’ve changed and adapted the product more than what they committed at the beginning of the process.

Their team has been fantastic with project management! They’re great at communication and meet every single one of our deadlines. In terms of tools, we’ve used a documentation charter to share info.

What did you find most impressive about them? 

They’ve been able to understand my project, which differentiates them from other providers that couldn’t grab the complexities of our needs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — there’s nothing but positive things to say about their work, and I wouldn’t be able to complete the project without their transparency and honesty.
