For what projects/services did your company hire SIM TECHNOLOGIES, and what were your goals?

My ecommerce client was entering their busiest season and their shopping feed had been rejected by Google Merchant Center. They use Big Commerce as a platform. I enlisted SIM Technologies to help troubleshoot and fix the issues with the feed and within the Big Commerce product listing configuration and re-submit to GMC.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I have worked with shopping feeds in the past and understand that there are many factors that can affect whether it is accepted by Google Merchant Center. Therefore I was seeking someone that specialized in e-commerce development and could identify the core issue and address in a timely manner.

We worked in a collaborative fashion, with me as the main point of contact with the client and SIM Technologies as the lead in the technical work. They did a good job of providing me with detailed updates throughout the process and outlined clear cases for how to best address the root causes of the rejected feed

The feed was accepted by Google Merchant Center, which was our measurement for success

We communicated via Slack, email and Whatsapp. There is a time difference but I still found the SIM team to be very responsive and often worked during shoulder hours to allow for collaboration. They also worked well async.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team ran into several roadblocks and persevered until they found solutions; the client's site is built in a way that made this project challenging. There needed to be custom dynamic scripts written to connect the Big Commerce product page details to the feed. SIM TECHNOLOGIES did great in finding ways to make the solution work and managed my expectations accordingly.

Mohammad is a great Tech Lead and handled most of the front and back end implementation along side a great team of developers.
