I am the National Sales and Marketing Director for Flick Anticimex, we provide pest control, preconstruction, and hygiene services throughout Australia and New Zealand. Flick was started over 100 years ago and is currently the leading company in these industries.

We brought Shoreline on to develop a new website for us and further manage our SEO, social presences, and digital consulting. We needed a complete renovation of our site and digital space!

What were your goals for this project?

We needed to bring our site into modern design, and create it to be easy to navigate and effective at converting traffic into leads. Further, we had and have several acquisitions that we are working on to bring into our main site.

How did you select this vendor?

I have worked with Shoreline for several years now with my previous company and felt very confident with their services. It was a no-brainer.

Describe the project in detail.

After a few discussions and review of our current site, we had game planned out site structure. Over the next few months, we saw previews of our site, and built it with all of our locations. Several edits and updates throughout the process, we now have the site up and running.

What was the team composition?

I work very directly with the entire team at Shoreline. From the owner to the project managers to the web developer, it's very easy and open communication.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have seen a lot of improvement in the keywords we are targeting with Shoreline, or website is converting at significantly higher rates now. I fully expect this to perform even better as we move forward as I see our tends and work progress.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Amazing. Every request or contact is usually replied to within the hour, from there, the work usually goes through quickly. Their web developers and managers are fantastic.

I don't feel like I'm just a number or another customer.

To increase web traffic towards increased sales at our residences.

Unknown. The individual who hired Shoreline no longer works here.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Shoreline Media rebuilt our website from scratch, page by page, with a greater emphasis on calls to action on every page, increased visuals and better cross-navigation site-wide. They update the site on an ongoing basis with almost daily updates as our construction projects progress.

They also were able to build certain content-management modules for me to update locally--certain photos, images and text areas--so it was unnecessary to submit a support ticket for every little update.

Shoreline took over our Google presence, handling our Google ads and SEO. They initiated our social media with new Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts that allowed us to post ourselves with their assistance.

What was the team composition?

At first, the company owner was our immediate point of contact. As the company grew, other individuals were assigned to our company. There was always one person we went to for updates for to resolve issues. This was always a good thing.

They have since enhanced their customer service department with a dedicated email/website stream to specifically handle support and update requests, the majority of which are resolved the same day or in less than 24 hours.

In rare occasions, issues are elevated to upper management, which responds immediately.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our website traffic has increased, though I don't have the exact numbers in front of me. We are aware that leads are coming to us regularly through Google searches and our website and to a lesser extent through social media posts.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

I answered that above. A single point of contact was always assigned to our company. Projects were handled directly between that person and myself with occasional interaction with the next level of management on both sides.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They've given fast response to questions and various issues since day one. As the company evolved, individuals assigned to us changed, but there was never a lapse in service.

Attention has been paid to our sometimes annoying details without ever a complaint. Requests to make the back end more user-friendly to me for simple updates to job boards, team listings, photos and promotional images have been handled quickly and easily.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I am always looking for ways to make WordPress sites more user friendly on the back end. Like many other web developers, Shoreline uses WordPress and various plugins and enhancements to create its sites.

I would like to be able to customize more elements of our website but understand that to do so would disturb much of Shoreline's custom coding. Their updates are so fast, it's not a huge issue anyway.

Referral from one of our clients that was using Shoreline Media for several years with success and happy with their results.

We wanted Shoreline Media to help us attract more clients in some niche insurance spaces. This also involved us writing more business across the country rather than focusing on just our local market.

What was the team composition?

We initially met with the owner Joe to work on some initial ideas. At the first meeting, we really were not even sure what we wanted but knew we were missing opportunities for new business online. The first meeting was more of an education for us as we learned for the first time how SEO worked and the value of content on our website.

From there we've worked on a few campaigns over the past few years. We typically work with Chris and Nilton. Nilton is our project manager, Chris does the design work and the owner Joe always gets back to us if we need him.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We did exceed our goal of writing an additional 25 commercial accounts through the Shoreline Media campaigns. We've been able to enter a few out of state markets and establish a few new footprints for new business.

It's always very good. From my end, I communicate with Nilton when something is working and when it's not. From there we are making adjustments on a monthly, sometimes weekly, basis to keep our campaigns efficient and effective.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are very thorough in tracking the results, and we can directly see the result data for each of our campaigns. We know what's working and what's not and can adjust accordingly based on the result data that we are given.

We hired Shoreline back in 2011 to design/build our first website. We hired them as well to manage our SEO/PPC at that time as well. They have since re-designed our website and are currently building an entirely new site for us.

Our goals for this project were to build a new site that would reflect our growing and changing business. We wanted to streamline the user experience as well as incorporate a few new functions to help our clients manage their accounts through the new site. Additionally, it was out goal to help optimize our SEO campaigns.

How did you select this vendor?

We selected Shoreline Media after interviewing several Web/SEO companies. When comparing Shoreline, we were able to see the difference in the way they work closely with their clients to accomplish the goals set forth.

Other companies pitched us ideas that we just couldn't connect with. Other companies seemed to care more about what they wanted to do rather than what we were looking for and what would work best to achieve our goals.

Shoreline Media built every website we have and continue to develop for us today. They have also developed all of our PPC campaigns along with all the collateral media marketing we do. Our SEO results speak for themselves, both organic and PPC. Our newest website, which is currently under development is coming along very nicely and ahead of schedule. They're once again exceeding expectations!!

We are working with 2 project managers on the web design/build as well as a PPC/SEO manager. Joe (Owner & CEO, Shoreline Media) is always involved and readily available when necessary, which is a very important component for me.

The results from the efforts of Shoreline Media speak for themselves. We have grown to be a leading company in the services we provide and can attribute a large portion of that to how well our web sites perform, our online presence and the success of our PPC campaigns.

Without Joe and Shoreline, I can honestly say that we may not be where we are today had it not been for the incredible work Shoreline continues to put out day after day, year after year.

The workflow has been seamless between my company and Shoreline Media. Communication has been key to the success of our relationship.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I think what I find most impressive about Shoreline Media is the dynamic between Joe, the owner, the employees and ourselves. The knowledge each employee has and the work delegated to those employees has made it very easy and stress-free when working with them.

Having the owner always available to communicate with, either in person, through email or phone is very comforting and has helped smooth any bumps we may have encountered along this journey we've been on together.

Any improvements seem to be made proactively before issues arise. If and when I feel I can make a suggestion to help improve anything I believe will help (which is extremely seldom), they are welcomed with open arms and open minds.
