Shoelace was supposed to create and manage our Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Google ads, including making creatives for the company.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

There was no progress with the project. Our ads performance went downhill after they took over the account. The ad performance was extremely poor

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Companies hire an advertising company to ensure that things run smoothly and to take the stress of marketing off their hands, but not this firm. My experience has been riddled with poor communication, which is a result of their refusal to listen. The gaslighting at some points becomes unbearable. They manipulate statistics, comparing current numbers to two years prior instead of the previous year, just so they can boast of good performance.

I've worked with Shoelace for a long time now, so you would think that all these issues I keep pointing out would have been resolved by now. But no, things have only gotten worse. Creatives are poorly executed even after I provide clear guidelines. The same frustrations I had last year persist, as they continue to create content that doesn't align with the brand aesthetic. They crop the faces of models and customers in videos, justifying that no one will notice.

Performance-wise, the ads have been performing terribly. It’s unbelievable how bad it is. You're paying a hefty sum of money only to be met with frustration when dealing with this company.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The way they gaslight clients and delete honest Shopify reviews is quite shocking

Are there any areas for improvement or something Shoelace could have done differently?

Our experience with this company is frustrating. I don't even know who the CEO is, but he's clearly not involved. Maybe he takes as many vacations as his employees because I've never seen a company run so poorly. They lack the skills to run and manage ads, and there's absolutely no customer service. There's no one to report account issues to, so the employees just cover for themselves. 
They barely work, are always on unnecessary vacations, and leave your account running with numerous issues. You pay a hefty sum for nothing. After cancellation, we discovered so many problems with the ads and catalog that it was heartbreaking. These were issues I believe they saw and neglected out of sheer laziness.
