What were your goals for this project?
Replacing the old system with a new one and applying new technologies in business. The collaboration then expanded to consulting and introducing new innovations into the business.

Ship Shape designed the all new web site and they developed, configured and launched backend business management solution. We have customized and paired the system with all our clients in the region and all over the world. We faced a lot of challenges as we developed many innovations for the first time, but the engineering approach to problem solving by the whole team from Ship Shape contributed to the rapid resolution of obstacles and a system design that is advanced for this industry.

The project team had about five people with a couple of additional people from both companies joining the project as needed in specific niches

The project allowed us great automation in the business and the ability to add certain modules very quickly as the business develops
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
The project progressed much faster than expected thanks to the great commitment by Ship Shape through all channels of communication, from Asana to live meetings. I am still surprised how we have done so much work in such a short time.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their communication with clients is better than any of the specialized companies dealing with various digital marketing, consulting and development services with which I have had the opportunity to cooperate
Are there any areas for improvement?
The system works perfectly for what is customized, but I am extremely glad that there is room for improvement and growth with very little intervention as the company develops.

I am managing director at Strategio d.o.o. We are market intelligence vendor, providing structured market intelligence data in real time on a single screen.
For what projects/services did your company hire SHIPSHAPE ltd, and what were your goals?
As we grew rapidly, we had challenges in data content management. Size of the managed data outgrew current module and we needed process automation to flag only positions with possible errors.
Once flagged, error needs to be marked and solution offered in order to completely minimize manual management. Module needs to manage 2.500.000 URL locations twice a day, 4 different data content sources, 35 product categories from 18 different market/countries.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We published a tender that SHIPSHAPE answered. They were not the one with lowest price, they were the one completely understanding the challenge.

The bottleneck at our internal process was gone, we got content management system that is supporting our growth and in same time we significantly increased general content quality as we could manage all incoming incidents in very short period of time, using minimum manual resources.

They listen and understand, then offering not power point but actual demo module in limited config but enough that we can test and provide feedback. Opposite to all other that came with solution in power point.

They were straightforward and keeping deadlines.. They were a highly skilled and customer-focused team that understood customer ideas and challenges.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Project was large in terms that we had to resolve many different challenges, and it lasted for 7 months. There was a few set-backs, as it always happens with projects like this - but they always managed it fast without any impact to project milestones.

We had an initial meeting where we discussed the project. After that, we sent the designs. After that, the team gave some useful input and UI / UX changes which made sense. After some time, we had an initial version of our website.
