Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of KalaNiketan, an online retail firm.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with SetBlue?
I spent a lot of money on my website to generate business, but I didn’t get a proper response.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They designed and developed our new website. They gave us the option of Windows-based .NET or Magento. (We chose Magento because it has so many features and you don’t have to redesign your website for 4-5 years.)
They also have a team that handles my sales. After meeting them, we found that online business is there for us. So, we’re also planning on starting a new venture with a huge website. They will be our partner in this.
What is the team composition?
There are 4-5 people who handle design, development, and testing. They have a huge team of 20-25 people.
How did you come to work with SetBlue?
When searching online, I found that SetBlue had made a mini-website that fit my requirements. I called them, and we had a great talk.
After the meeting, I found that the owner of SetBlue was a very experienced and polite person. He knew when to start the website, which products to use, and what we needed to display on the website. He also knew which products we needed to sell, clients to target, and services we needed to offer.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested $25,000 per-year with the team.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in October 2017, and the work is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I receive so many new buyers due to the way they designed and developed my website. I’d recommend them to all other business owners.
We like their services. In particular, we like the way they guide us on how to use the new functions.
How did SetBlue perform from a project management standpoint?
The work is done by SetBlue and my manager. (I wasn’t involved with all their planning. I only needed to see the final goal and results.)
What did you find most impressive about them?
The SetBlue owner is involved in every project, and they don’t depend on other employees. The owner’s elder brother is a very good guy as well, and he is experienced in online sales. He’s really good at convincing the buyers if they have any inqueries.
Both of the owners are very good. I recommend them again and again in any way I can. They’re very experienced, good-natured people.
Even their after-sales service is commendable. They offer 24/7 service. Any time you call them with a problem, they’ll sort it out right away.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They should increase their team because the market is big. They have 40-50 clients, and they need a larger team. They do handle it very well, though. I have no complaints.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They’ll always educate the client before they give the services. They want to educate the buyer and the client. I’d recommend them to anybody.
