They first started by understanding the objectives and goals of the campaign. We then gave them access the existing ad accounts so they could scope out the project based on previous campaign performance and the existing audiences. For this project we focused our media spend on Google and Facebook.

After accepting their quote they quickly began creating the new campaigns and targeting. Once the campaigns were made live we instantly saw results and from that point onwards they continued to optimise the campaigns and also tweak targeting based on our needs. Throughout the project there has been constant communication and reporting to ensure we are always heading in the right direction and so that both teams are up to date.

Whilst the final results are still being measure we cannot give out figures. However I can share that the CPA is lower than our target, we acquired more leads than our target and both ourselves and our client are very happy with the project as a whole.

They cut through the jargon, told us what we needed to do and didn't sugar coat anything. At the end of the day paid media is a cold, hard "put your money on the table" investment. You need someone that challenges you to get the most out of your investment whilst understanding the dynamic nature of companies and how their objectives can change VERY quickly. semguru made us feel very comfortable yet challenged us and worked with us to move when needed.

On the paid media side, we required an agency that could conduct extensive research into our target market and competitors, keyword research, campaign setup, ongoing optimization and ad copywriting. semguru also worked with us to help improve the user journey and optimize landing pages. 

From an SEO perspective, semguru's research identified a huge opportunity in our sector for organic SEO, which included creating local listings, optimising landing pages for local search terms as well as updating meta tags to include local areas.
