Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the CEO of Zelific, and I sell products on Amazon Marketplace that comply with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
What challenge were you trying to address with Sellerlit?
I was trying to understand the process of getting multiple FDA products launched on Amazon with the constant changes due to COVID-19.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Sellerlit helps me communicate with suppliers and assists with product development with regard to understanding size and weight. In general, we work together to manage the different things that need to be communicated with the seller. They also help with communication with Amazon reps, as well as with different sectors with regard to shipping and packaging size — all those things that come into play in the retail industry.
What is the team composition?
We have 3–4 people assigned to my project. Our main point of contact is the one I’ve been in contact with since the start of the project.
How did you come to work with Sellerlit?
I found Sellerlit through Upwork, and I was impressed with the massive amount of great reviews on them and the work they do. Some of the feedback they have is that they provide high proficiency and get the job done.
How much have you invested with them?
I’ve invested around $1,500 in the project. Their hourly price is more or less $50.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in October 2020, and we have an ongoing collaboration. It just goes to speak about his skillset. I've completed the project, but he makes himself available to answer any questions. I constantly have questions that come up because of the changes in rules on Amazon, and they’re there to help me.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I went from having around 200 units of a product sitting to selling 150 units very quickly, and now I’m waiting to get approval to sell another 3,000 units. Being able to do that showcases their expertise in the market and that they know how to market a product.
How did Sellerlit perform from a project management standpoint?
We do a lot of communication through Upwork via chat, phone call, or FaceTime. They keep in contact to discuss how our products are doing and what the next steps are.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m amazed by their quick communication. Whenever I ask something, they get back to me within 24 hours, even when it’s a weekend night. If I reach out to them, they are always going to be there to answer my questions or set up a call for something a bit more detailed to answer my questions. They did a good job of keeping up with the differences in the time zone and whenever there were changes to the prices of the work they let me know.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Overall, we had an excellent experience, so I have no complaints.
Any advice for potential customers?
Be very detailed as to what you need in order to maximize whatever you're trying to get done. When I reached out to them, I was very detailed as to what I wanted, so it allowed us to have a conversation about what I expected. Be detailed because the business of selling on these different platforms is ever-changing.

I searched, narrowed down to 3 vendors, and interviewed all vendors. I chose Volod because he was direct, realistic, informative, and didn’t pressure me into his services.

I work communicate and coordinate with Volod but I know he has a larger team. It’s nice to work with one person directly. There is good consistency.

So far so good, fingers crossed on results of my product launch. The launch is still ongoing.

He communicates regularly and is readily available for zoom meetings at various points in the process and when needs arise. I appreciate his timelines as other vendors I met with had very long drawn out timelines.

Very realistic approach and overall business acumen. Other vendors inflate potential results, whereas they are more cautious. They really consider our current position.

The workflow was very effective. I found Vlad to be a top project manager and navigated timing and expert analysis. Everything was done on time and in fact, he was following up with me on items that I was delayed on.

The guidance improved the client's sales considerably. The team maintains a communicative workflow by being available and communicating any changes to the procedure caused by the pandemic.
